One of our best tour experiences ever. Highly recommended. - We had private tours with Tekpan in MC, Teotihuacan and Puebla. From the beginning, Mariana was professional and accommodating, setting up a fantastic itinerary, catering to all our requirements and beyond. Excellent communication, reliable and punctual. Stephy, our guide for 4 days, was extremely knowledgeable in history, culture, politics and food, was super friendly and alert to accommodate every single aspect and requirement. Drivers punctual and cars safe and clean. I will certainly use this company again when back in Mexico and do not hesitate to recommend them.

Amazing - Excellent tour even for me who thought I didn’t like visiting ruins. We went early to avoid the crowds. Good footware should be worn as there are lots of stairs to climb. Tekpan guide George was very informative and spoke many languages.

Great tour - Enedina and our driver picked us in a comfortable minivan up right on time, so we missed most of the traffic and arrived when the pyramids opened. Nice to see it without the crowds, and just the two of us with our guide. We visited the entire site, and our driver picked us up at a different entrance so we didn’t have to return to starting place. Guide was very helpful and informative. Stopped at a restaurant after, ( food not very good) and at a tourist store, learned about obsidian and agave, no pressure, and felt no obligation to buy anything.

First Rate on All Counts - My son and I visited Teotihuacan shortly after Christmas, courtesy of Tekpan Tours. The experience was superb in every way, from the drive between our hotel in Mexico City and Teotihuacan to the site itself, the Museo de la Cultura Teotihuacana, the Museo de los Murales, and lunch in a local restaurant. The site of course is breathtaking beyond any expectation, but we are especially grateful to our guide, Roberto. His highly informed commentary at every point added enormously to our appreciation of what was in front of us. Throughout the visit, he was exceedingly generous in sharing his great knowledge not only of Teotihuacan per se but also of the broader history of such places, their peoples and their traditions going back to centuries before Christ. We came away with a depth of understanding that would have been impossible had we attempted to visit the site on our own, even with an armload of guidebooks. It was a very good decision to opt for a private tour and, particularly, for one by Tekpan Tours. The strong recommendations offered by Fodor and many previous clients are spot on. We enjoyed every moment.

Great Guide...Fantastic Archeological Site..Absolutely Worth the Visit - Ernesto was a wonderful guide. His knowledge of the archeological site was extensive and we were fascinated by his explanations and demonstrations of important yet frequently overlooked aspects of the site. We both recommend him highly. A side note: There is little shade at the site...the sun is strong...and the UV is high. Hats...sunglasses...sunblock are all strongly recommended. Ernesto lent me an umbrella....which I was very happy to have.

Great visit with wonderful guide - We had a great time with Gerardo and Atl. Gerardo was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and very relaxed. The one additional comment would be to skip the mezcal and weaving bit—we had the option to skip, decided to see it, but other then going to a store and feeling slightly pressured to buy, I don’t think it’s very worthwhile.
