Starting in a private vehicle from your accommodation, we will leave Mexico City early to avoid city traffic and crowds at the pyramids. Our route around the site will include an in-depth examination of the three most significant Teotihuacan structures: the pyramids of Luna, Sun and Feathered Serpent. Our expert certified guide will delve into the stories, traditions and sacred rights that date back to the classical Mesoamerican era. We will have the option of climbing the steep steps of a pyramid, where our guide can point out the geographical influence of Teotihuacan in the neighboring regions. Our path will also lead us to several important compounds with murals before the Mayans and Aztecs, and we will learn about these palace designs and the artistic style that permeated not only the ancient Teotihuacan society but many Mesoamerican civilizations for millennia.

We had a great tour with... - We had a great tour with Fermin as our guide. Fermin communicated with me the day before the tour and was punctual. His car is comfortable and spacious.
Most importantly, Fermin is a very knowledgeable guide that provided us information that we would unlikely to gain through online research about the site.

Fantastic tour with Aldo - We had a fantastic private tour of Teotihuacán with our guide, Aldo. He did an outstanding job explaining the murals, architecture, and history of the site in a way that was both detailed and easy to follow. I especially appreciated how he pointed out the symbolism in the artwork—things like the contrast between day and night animals, predators and prey, and the themes of life and death that appear throughout the murals.
Aldo was knowledgeable, engaging, and very patient with our kids, keeping the pace comfortable for our whole family throughout the trip. He took the time to answer questions and helped bring the history of the site to life in a way that made the visit much more meaningful than just walking the ruins on our own.
Overall, it was a great experience and a memorable way to explore Teotihuacán. Highly recommended.

An outstanding private tour of Teotihuacán with Hugo - Hugo was simply phenomenal. From the moment he picked us up outside our hotel he was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and incredibly engaging to listen to. It was genuinely one of the best tours we’ve ever done.
The private nature of the tour made it especially enjoyable, as everything was set to our pace and felt very personal. Hugo was wonderfully adaptable and tailored the experience to our interests, which made the whole day feel relaxed and special.
At Teotihuacán he brought the entire site to life. We learned so much about the civilisation, culture, architecture and history, and he shared fascinating insights that we never would have discovered on our own. Hugo was also incredibly generous with his knowledge and happy to answer all our questions, which made the experience feel even more personal.
This tour would be perfect for anyone visiting Mexico City, and we highly recommend Hugo.

Great Tour of Teotihuacan - Out tour guide was Noah who was excellent. He led us through the Teotihuacan Pyramids and explained the history of the site and the structures in a knowledgeable and easy to understand way. He also adapted the tour to make it easier for us to navigate the site by using a less busy entrance and saving us a lot of walking. The site itself is quite extensive so Noah was really helpful at making sure we saw the most important parts and in the most efficient way possible. And of course the Mezcal tasting we stopped at before our journey back to Mexico City was a nice way to end the tour.

Tiotihuacan private family tour - I want to thank Aldo, our guide, for a very memorable experience. Aldo did a great job threading the needle between telling the adults and my 9 year old daughter the history of Tiotihuacan, which is not an easy task. He was mindful of the amount of walking we did and taking appropriate breaks for a child. He was adaptable to everyone’s needs and answered scores of questions from every family member. Ask for Aldo and you will not be disappointed!

Highlight of Our Trip - We loved this tour - seeing the pyramids up close was awe inspiring. Our guide, Gerardo Davalos, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and made this tour the highlight of our trip. His knowledge not only covered the history of the pyramids but also Mexico. Our driver Carlos got us there and back safely and comfortably. I highly recommend booking your tour of the pyramids with this company and Gerardo if he’s available.

The actual drive and tour... - The actual drive and tour was good - Noah was efficient - so if you are looking for a short trip this is it. However , after the tour you are dumped at a tourist stop where our driver abandoned us to be talked at and sold merchandise to. He was not reachable by text and we felt taken advantage of . So if you can skip the ‘mezcal’ tasting (it was not a tasting) please do so.
