• San Juan - The adventure begins with a personal pickup by the guide from the traveler’s accommodation in the metro area. Pickups can be arranged from hotels, resorts, residences, or Airbnbs located in San Juan, Carolina, Loiza, Canovanas, Luquillo, Rio Grande, or Fajardo. The day before the excursion, the tour guide will contact travelers to confirm the exact pickup time and other details. This schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Starting earlier is preferable to avoid larger tour groups from other companies.
• El Yunque National Forest - A certified tour guide will lead the way through the stunning hidden gem of “El Yunque” rainforest. Travelers will explore the muddy clay trails and lush greenery of the rainforest. Arrival at Las Tinajas Falls depends on the previously scheduled pickup times arranged by the personal tour guide. The hike covers about 1.5 miles and takes approximately half an hour to reach the first bathing area. The guide will share insights about Taino life in the rainforest, the beautiful plants, and the incredible bathing areas hidden in paradise. In these areas, travelers can spend 1-2 hours swimming, rope swinging into the deep rainwaters, sliding down a natural waterslide, or jumping from a 30-foot cliff! All these activities are available in one incredible area in Puerto Rico. The group will stay until 1-2 p.m. and then stop at nearby restaurants for a meal.
• Playa Luquillo - After the amazing hike, it’s time for some food! If the group and the tour guide agree, a stop will be made at this beautiful beach, home to around 25 kiosks featuring some of the best restaurants in Puerto Rico. Here, travelers can try authentic Puerto Rican dishes and drinks like the famous mojitos or “piña colada” (lunch costs not included). Additionally, they can enjoy the stunning view of one of the island’s most beautiful beaches and have the chance to swim at this iconic location. Arrival is usually by 2-3 p.m., with departure by 4-5 p.m.
• San Juan - Return to accommodation! Once the experience concludes, each group member will be taken back to their accommodation directly by the tour guide.
