Angel and Annie helped... - Angel and Annie helped make our visit to San Juan special. Angel is a walking encyclopedia on Puerto Rican history and culture, and he customized the entire tour around our interests — Old San Juan and the forts, the modern city, and a great stop at Plaza del Mercado where we grabbed fresh local fruit and a smoothie. Annie kept us safe and comfortable, with minimal walking involved. Professional, warm, and genuinely passionate about their island.

Incredible Tour! - An absolute pleasure to get a tour with Angel and Annie. Angel did an excellent job of explaining areas of history that we were curious about. A master class on PR and the San Juan area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

The Best Introduction to San Juan - Such a wonderful way to experience our first time in Puerto Rico. Angel was so knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions and Annie did a fantastic job of driving us around the spectacular city. Don’t hesitate to book this!! Just awesome.

Amazing Private Walking Tour! - Angel was an amazing tour guide! It was a private tour, and Angel really took the time to delve into the history of Old and New San Juan. His historical knowledge is incredible. Our favorite part of the tour was him describing the Altar de la Patria (Altar to the Nation). Angel really delved into Puerto Rico's history, and brought an incredibly nuanced take that my group enjoyed. You can tell Angel really studied and appreciated the history, because by the time we finished our "briefing" of the Altar, two or three other groups had passed us! This tour is for the groups who want an unglorified, realistic, and historical introduction to San Juan.
Props to our driver as well, who navigated the narrow city roads expertly!

A first-hand view of the whole city - Angel and Annie took us first to Old San Juan, by the forts and through the historic cobblestone streets. We saw the original Spanish structures and learned their significance. Next was the expansion phase of the city out of its original walls centered on the Capitol. I didn't think I would find the 20th century expansion of the city as interesting, but Angel told us about the recent history of specific neighborhoods focusing on gentrification and the development of tourism, ending our tour at the modern convention center district. We enjoyed discussing his growing up in the city and what it is like to live there. A wonderful, personal two hours.

Great personalized tour of San Juan - Angel and Annie gave us a delightful tour of San Juan. Our family of four saw parts of the city that we would not have otherwise seen, and learned some interesting facts of the city. I would highly recommend this tour to people that would like to see more of the city while learning a bit as well.

Book this tour, you won't regret it!! - We had an amazing tour with Angel and Annie! Angel's wealth of knowledge about Old San Juan is amazing. We appreciated learning about the history of Puerto Rico from the very beginning up until present day. Angel took the time to tailor the tour to our interests and made sure that he covered everything we were interested in. We would not hesitate to recommend Angel and Annie to anyone. They made our time in Old San Juan truly special and unforgettable. Thank you Angel and Annie!!
