We're So Better Informed! - Miguel really knew his Old San Juan history and the walking tour was perfectly paced. We learned much about the history of this beautiful place and it prepared us well for our afternoon visit to San Cristobal. We stopped for cold water along the way--much needed on such a warm day. Miguel never broke a sweat!

Excellent Short Tour of Landmarks of Old San Juan - Our tour guide Lesley Ann was great! She had an excellent knowledge of the history of Puerto Rico and San Juan, including art and architecture. This was a 2 hour tour highlighting important landmarks of Old San Juan. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to go inside El Morro, but by then we were hot, tired and ready to go back to the hotel. It would need a separate tour. Lesley made certain that we got restroom breaks and chances to sit and get water. She was happy to take photos of our group.

3 Cheers For Danny!! - My new son, Danny, was phenomenal!!! He treated me and my son like family from the moment he greeted us. He was so thoughtful and knowledgeable and even gave us more information than we needed that was totally unrelated even to the tour itself. We could tell he really enjoys his job , and he knows how to bring you into his love for Puerto Rican history and culture. This was my first time in Puerto Rico, and he made it really special.

Old San Juan - This was a great overview of the area and our tour guide, Naomi, was amazing. She covered so much history and shared advice about places to dine and see. It got pretty warm but Naomi was great at finding shady spots for us to stop. After the tour, she even guided us to the restaurant that created the frozen Pina Colada, which we had to sample...of course!

Note primarily a tour of old city buildings, etc- about feminists and natives - Tour almost entirely outside old city wall. Good intro on history of SJ, but emphasized native culture and feminist accomplishment (first woman mayor. Walked in the Princess park to the water, stopping at the woman mayor statue and the statue near the water for detailed explanations. Reasonable, but would/should be minor details in tour of old city. Walked up to and through the remaining city gate, where there was a discussion of wall structure and the statue of the bishop and folks that walked in plain view of the British fleet- the last attempted invasion of the British. Walked up hill to the cathedral and the little park in front, which was named for that first woman mayor. Cathedral newly renovated, but not included in tour. That was the end. As you might guess, the tour guide had an agenda and it wasn't to see old city. But a very nice lady.
