• Castillo de San Cristobal - Our journey begins at Castillo San Cristobal, a UNESCO ‘National Historic Site’ renowned as an ‘engineering masterpiece.’ Constructed to defend against land-based attacks, Cristobal was considered cutting-edge for its era. We will spend 45 minutes exploring this site.
• Castillo de San Cristobal - Our Certified Historical Interpreter, dressed in a traditional White Spanish Colonial uniform, will greet your group near the Christopher Columbus Statue in Plaza Colon. Here, the discovery of the island and an introduction to the local indigenous people, the Tainos, will be discussed.
• Castillo San Felipe del Morro - At Castillo San Felipe Del Morro, we will spend approximately 60 minutes delving into the history of the Citadel and enjoying the stunning views it provides. El Morro is an impressive six-level fortification. Without revealing too much, it is truly awe-inspiring.
• Calle San Sebastian - After departing Castillo San Cristobal, we will proceed to the main attraction, Castillo San Felipe Del Morro, by walking through Calle San Sebastian without stopping.

UNCLE J WALKS proudly offers the exclusive walking tour in the old city that grants ENTRY to both renowned Castles, CASTILLO SAN FELIPE DEL MORRO and CASTILLO SAN CRISTOBAL.

While few operators provide a Castle tour in the city, none offer access to both—until now.

Join Uncle J, dressed as an 18th-century soldier, in a fun and intimate setting as he guides you through the history of these fortifications, which King Phillip II referred to as “the key to the Indies.”

We encourage small groups to ensure you have plenty of time to capture stunning photos and enjoy the breathtaking views.
