Everyone should learn to Salsa from Juan! - My wife and I ended up being the only students because of rain (there’s no reason to cancel if it rains, we were covered), and we had an absolute blast! Neither of us knew how to salsa and Juan taught us so well that we left ready to hit a salsa club to practice our new moves. Out of all the amazing things we did and saw in Puerto Rico, this was by far one of the most memorable experiences we had, and we have a new friend in Juan. Highly recommend!!

Salsa in the park! Fantastic!!! - Fun, relaxed and great teacher! Juan was our instructor. He was hilarious. We learned the basic steps of salsa and had a great time doing it. He never made us feel uncoordinated or uncomfortable. My partner was unsure but before you knew it she loved salsa too!

Best Dance Class EVER! - Great instructor! The instructor was extremely professional, patient, fun, and made the learning experience enjoyable! I 100% suggest taking the class. If you are an experienced dancer take the private class he really push’s your learning. Suggest wearing something light and flowy to help you feel sexy and get into it more.

The most fun, easy-to-follow, and joyful instructor you’ll ever find - My wife and I indulged in a lesson during our honeymoon and we had the time of our life. Juan is an excellent salsa teacher who is not only genuinely passionate about dancing, but also knows to fuse his lessons with humor, patience, clear instructions and a good mood to make sure you are challenged, but never left behind, all the while having fun. It‘s truly a wonderful and joyful experience and we couldn’t think of a better place to learn to dance authentic salsa. We highly recommend and will go again ourselves next time we are there.

Dancing with Juan - Juan was both funny and entertaining. I mistakenly booked a private class but that simply made the experience better. Despite the sweltering heat, learning salsa felt like a breeze. With grinning smiles and foreheads dripping in sweat, we clumsily avoided each others toes to a botched eight count. Juan quickly took on his persona as Juanita when he danced with my partner. I must say, she’s much better than me but polite enough to keep her hands where I can see them. We danced while leaving enough room for Jesus but also close enough to provoke childlike giggles. I would gladly book with Juan again and would happily recommend his class to anyone.

Paradise Getaway on Isla Verde in San Juan - DO NOT BOOK THIS CONDO IF YOU HAVE ANY STANDARDS!!!! It was stated that it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our first indication that the description wasn't close to what it stated was shown as soon as we opened the door. The floor was discolored or dirty(?), the kitchen faucet was broken, there were no lights in the second bedroom, dead bug on the bathroom sink and the worst was that the second bathroom was locked. I was told ahead of time that we could not use the shower in the master bedroom but NOT that the toilet was in with the shower and not available. Because it felt unclean and the broken/not available appliances we decided after one night to move. I informed Booking.com and the owner immediately. I also put a hold on my credit card payment. We asked for a refund for the three nights that we did not stay but pay for the one night that we were there. The owner offered approximately $150.00 refund which we refused.
