Andre was an incredible... - Andre was an incredible guide. He shared his knowledge and his love of nature and the island, from coffee to the plants and waterfalls. The hike was challenging at times, but he set a pace that made it enjoyable and rewarding. What made the tour really special was how personal and intimate it felt: just us, exploring places off the beaten path, far from the crowded, cookie-cutter tours. It was the perfect way to see Puerto Ricos mountain rainforest in an authentic and memorable way. Bring water and comfortable hiking gear. An extra set of clothes to change into at the end is a must.

A REAL hiking experience in PR!! - BEST PR adventure you could WVER do!! I’m not sure what of the three we actually did-full day with amazing local coffee shop on the way into the mountains, a private hike which was fabulously rigorous and incredibly amazing! Andre’ is a next level human! Great food! (Fresh cut mangos and pineapple at one of the waterfalls! ) I would (will!) DEFINITELY do this again next year when in PR for IM70.3!!

If you do anything, do this tour! - I usually don't write review or tend to forget to do them. However, I saw I never gave one for this tour but seriously if I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would! I think this might be my first review ever, but man it deserves one! If you like to hike or simply want to experience what Puerto Rico's nature has to offer then PLEASE BOOK THIS TOUR!! If you are unsure about it. Just do it. It was a great time! Seeing the different waterfalls and learning about native plants was awesome! Not to mention our guide was so freaking AMAZING!!! The food I had on this tour was simply some of my favorite I had on the trip. Please know this is coming from someone who really researches before trips and reads lots lots and lots of reviews that to find a unique and positive experience. If you are like me just know it is everything it chops up to be.

Don’t miss a chance to explore nature! - This is our 2nd time taking a hike with Andre (first time, 2 years ago). We returned because it is such a great adventure and a perfect way to see more of PR than just San Juan. Locally farmed coffee and delish authentic mountain lunch are such a treat, but it is the hike in this exclusive preserve that is the draw. Stunning waterfalls, ancient trees - the rainforest is lush and alive, and spending the day seeing it up close is so special. It is not to be missed. Now, as a second-timer, anyone reading this should be sure to READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE HIKE. It is not for the faint of heart. You will get wet, muddy, sweaty and tired. You will climb steep trails and trek through rocky rivers - you will slip and fall. AND IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. Fresh mango and pineapple are a welcomed treat during the hike, where you eat sitting next to a spectacular waterfall. You feel so small in nature and so inspired by it. Andre’s primary goals are to keep you safe and make sure you have fun. He knows so much about PR, the surrounding area, nature and local interests. He has a wonderful personality and is a very capable guide. He checks in with you often to make sure you are OK, if you need a break or if he needs to make hike changes to accommodate the group. We know we’ll see him again next year since this IS such a unique and special excursion. Don’t miss it, but be prepared for a challenging adventure in the mountains. Fortune favors the brave!
