Great Food And History Lesson - What a great tour! Carlos was friendly, knowledgeable, and really entertaining. We began the trip with an informative tour of the refurbished Vanderbilt Hotel, then visited the seaside community of Pinones for some local Caribbean/Puerto-Rican cuisine. We enjoyed delicious fried plantains chased by fresh coconut water! We then visited old San Juan learning much of its history from before the Spanish conquistadors through the modern day and efforts to achieve Statehood. When visiting San Crisobal (the old fort), we witnessed whales breaching off the coast. It was great way to end the tour! Highly recommend this culinary and historical and educational tour of Old San Juan.
