Best tour and tastes of old San Juan! - My wife and I just took this tour via Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas shore excursions. We had a fantastic time with wonderful food and drink testing experiences. Our highlight was the piña colada with mofongo making, the true star of our tour was our tour guide Diego! He is a university student from Puerto Rico and he taught us so much about the history and culture of this magnificent city and island. He has such great passion and knowledge, and he took such great care of our group! I highly recommend this tour.

Great, easy walking tour of Old San Juan. 5 stops along the way to make up a delicious meal. - Our experience with Argeli couldn’t have been any better. It was long enough but not too long, the food was clearly local and the history of it was explained, as well as that of the establishments, and the history of the island. He left us with directions with our return route to where we were staying and gave us his contact information for any tours we may want to do in the future. He is a great ambassador for your country and your company. We will probably return to Puerto Rico because we feel we’ve met a local that will show us around.

Great food! - I was hesitant to do this tour because it's pricey compared to other food tours I have done in other cities. However, the food was delicious and plentiful! I wholly recommend this tour for the food tastings and the history lessons of San Juan. Also for the new friends we made on the tour.

Delicious! - The food was delicious and the history was also great. Raiza, our tour guide, was energetic and enthusiastic about history and food. We had a nice mixture of savory and sweet while we tried multiple flavors from the mixture of cultures that have and are inhabiting the island. We left super full and had to take our last snack home with us - which I just ate! Delicious! We sampled local coffee, a ham and cheese sandwich, a fruit paleta (popsicle), a plantain fritter, ceviche, mofongo with chicken, beans and rice and finally a chocolate pastry. We don’t drink alcohol so Raiza wrangled a virgin pina colada for us. It was one of the best tastes of the tour. Overall a wonderful experience!

Wonderful food (lots), and guide and info - We had 4 stops on our food tour, breakfast (local coffee & sandwich), then appetizers (thought that was main), then main (and made mojito), then delicious dessert. Even with power failure on island, restaurants had generators. Our guide, Claudia, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tour took longer than 3 hours, likely because of power failure. A lot of local foods.

Food Tasting - I actually enjoyed the walking tour better. There wasn’t as much food to try than I thought. The food we tasted was very god.
