I had such a great time... - I had such a great time on this bike tour. I ended up booking last minute and was the only person in the tour on Thanksgiving day and it ended up being the perfect little adventure in Old San Juan. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get in some exercise while seeing the beautiful city.

A bike ride through historical San Juan, Puerto Rico.I’m - Truly, one of the best tours of a small city that I’ve taken. I learned so much about the geography, history, architecture, and religion of the local people of Puerto Rico. The bike ride was fairly easy, and my guide. “Dariàn” was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The tour was conducted in Spanish for me, but I did note that he speaks beautiful English as well! I would highly recommend this bicycle tour to anybody of all ages. Being almost 65 years old, I no difficulty keeping up with the pace of the ride. Kudos to this wonderful company and to my guide Darien.

Biking thru Viejo San Juan - Damian was a great tour guide. The bike tour is a bit strenuous going up and down hills. The sunsets early in PR, so if you book a 5PM tour, be aware that you will be riding at night. Unfortunately, riders dont have reflect vests nor are there reflectors or small blinking lights on the bikes.

Great Bike Ride - Our bike ride with Justin & Josh. They were full of expertise & history. Make sure to bring plenty of water. Although our excursion was in November at 9:30am it still got HOT! You will have to be comfortable riding a bike. Helmets are not worn and a small part of the ride you are closer to passing vehicles. It will also be helpful to be an active individual but, there are breaks a long the way.

Fun workout - The tour itself is amazing just don’t forget your sunscreen. It takes you all around while passing many fun sights. My tour guy was great and very knowledgeable, the ladies that work in the office is a different story. The bikes have an old style and ARE old, the breaks/pedal’s don’t work properly. The way the handle bar is made my wrist hurt a little, these bikes can use some new parts.

An exceptional Old San Juan bike stroll. - Our bike tour of Old San Juan was perfect. The tour guide Justin was very knowledgeable of the island and its history. He was patient as we stopped for photos and to take in the island’s beauty. Personable and professional. Thank you VIP Adventures for an exceptional experience.

Make Sure To Double Check Where the Meeting Spot Is - Awesome experience! Although, it was a little stressful trying to locate where the tour began. According to the Viator booking, the meeting point was a white tent before the bridge at 860 Dr. Ashford Ave. There was no white tent before the bridge and they weren’t located at 860 Dr. Ashford Ave. I sent a message to the company via Viator app asking where the meeting point was. They responded the day after our tour with,”We are located in Building 864. Right in front of The Condado Plaza Hotel.” Si, just a heads up that the meeting point address is wrong on the Viator confirmation.
Once we located the meeting point and had our bike tour, we were so glad we booked this. The actual bike ride was about 4 1/2 miles on a single speed bike. Our guide, Jorge, was great and he brought us to many different points to take pictures. It was a beautiful ride on a gorgeous day. Expect lots of ocean views and to see the charming city of Old San Juan. I highly recommend.

Rough start but positive finish - The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star review is due to the fact that there were minor issues.
1). The description of the meeting place was completely wrong and it took us 5 panicky minutes finding it. For example it said white tent and there wasn’t a tent.
2). They did not have me registered. Fortunately, I had a confirmation email.
However, the guide was exceptional, the ride was a mix of beautiful vistas and amazing history and I found the bike easy to ride.

Seriously don’t bother there’s way better options - Definitely should have saved our money & not done this. Did the 9:30am tour, the guide didn’t really greet anyone from what I saw. 3 sets of ppl booked for a total of 7 plus the guide. We’re standing there for a bit & he’s messing with the bikes clearly not ready & not really saying anything. After over a 1/2 hour he comes up to a couple & says I don’t have enough bikes & you will have to wait until I come back from this tour to do a tour because you were the last that booked this. What a waste of their time!! The bikes are cheap, old & each has their own issue. Breaks not working properly, kick stand busted, tires being 1/2 flat. We head out & there was zero change in guide’s attitude. He clearly did not want to be doing this. I’ve done bikes tours all over the world & I’ve never had a guide that was so unenthusiastic on top of not saying anything. The points of interest he took us to are not off the beaten path & are all easily accessible or seen from the road. At each stop zero history or information was given just an offer to help take a photo. He would sit off to the side & use his vape as we looked around. There are so many tours here save your time, money & book something else.
