Tortuguero National Park

Tortuguero National Park - Embark on an exclusive journey from San Jose to Tortuguero, an incredible experience. Enjoy the crystal-clear rivers and stunning waterfalls during this brief transfer. As the journey continues through the lower Costa Rican Caribbean, passing vast plantations of bananas, pineapples, cocoa, and other local agricultural products, you will reach Caño Blanco. Here, a boat awaits to take you deeper into the jungle to your final destination, Tortuguero.

The boat ride lasts about 90 minutes, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience surrounded by diverse flora and fauna. Upon arrival at Pachira Lodge, enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious lunch. After settling into your room, explore the area, visit the museum, the beach, and the charming town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival at the lodge.

Tortuguero National Park - Savor Costa Rican flavors with breakfast at PACHIRA LODGE. Prepare to hike Tortuguero Hill or navigate the renowned Tortuguero Canals for an unforgettable experience in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna. After the tour, enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, explore private trails, take a boat ride through the canals, or simply relax. Dinner at the hotel. OPTIONAL NIGHT TOUR: Walk on the beach and admire the green turtles nesting (July through September). Note: The National Park entrance fee is not included and is $15, payable directly to the park’s administration.

Tortuguero & Transfer to Arenal Volcano

Arenal Volcano National Park - Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing for Arenal Volcano by boat and bus. Midway, after lunch, meet your private transport or shuttle bus and continue overland to Arenal. Check-in at Hotel Arenal Paraiso and enjoy some leisure time.
