Monteverde - After breakfast, begin the journey to Monteverde. The van and boat trip is an alternative transportation method for quick travel between Arenal and Monteverde. Starting in La Fortuna, a short van ride takes you to Arenal Lake, where a boat will transport you to Chiquito River. From the boat, enjoy beautiful scenery, including the impressive Arenal Volcano view. At Chiquito River, a jeep will take you to Monteverde. This transportation service is time-saving and enjoyable. Upon arrival in Monteverde, check in at Hotel Fonda Vela.
