AMAZING experience, BEST day ever! - I had an amazing experience swimming with not just one but many silky sharks. Eduardo and Matias made me feel really safe, providing clear instructions and valuable information about sharks. These amazing animals were simply minding their own business, and it was incredible to observe them up close. We also saw turtles, mobula rays, and dolphins, which made the trip even more special. The hospitality was outstanding; they constantly offered us water and delicious burritos. I highly recommend Dip Expeditions—they truly know and love the sea. During the expeditions, they even take the initiative to clean up plastic waste they find in the water. It's crucial to support expeditions led by conscientious people who love and preserve the sea as they do.

DISASTER - For starters, they met in that they would talk to us on WhatsApp about 2 or 3 days before to specify details such as the time, food or size of the neoprene. After insisting and talking to them myself, the day before about 7:00 p.m. was when all this was talked about. To continue, we are called at 7, about 25 minutes earlier than indicated on the website, with everything they require to leave before the hotel, get some place open for breakfast... Then it turns out they were late as they had to pour gasoline on the boat, we left half an hour later than planned, at 8.00am. We set out for the place where they said they had seen sharks, without bothering to explain anything, they started baiting and we there in the boat waiting... Without any conversation, explanations, entertainment... Just wait. After 2 hours they decided that we were changing places as no sharks were coming, they also didn't explain anything and start over... In the sun, with neoprene and doing nothing. We asked for water and if they gave us a reusable bottle almost full, I think it is okay not to use single-use plastics but I don’t know if it is the most hygienic to use this type of bottle if you offer water on the excursion in addition to how to know if that water is filtered (although it is supposed to be). Finally after 4-5 hours doing nothing and talking to each other, when the bait ran out they decided to come back. When we set out for the port, the captain came and told us that he was sorry and that there had been no luck. We understand that nature is unpredictable and that you cannot control animals or conditions. However, we saw that same day other companies did see sharks, so it makes us think that I do not know if they know the points well. It is a lot of money that is charged on this excursion to do nothing, to be 5 hours on a boat in the sun (there was also no bath on the boat). I think that when these things happen, they might have a plan B, an area where you can snorkel easily to at least feel made the excursion still not meet the goal of seeing sharks. Not everyone is good for dealing with the public, of course. According to the website, you approach the coast to eat... Far from it, when we left the boat we asked for the burritos that came into the excursion, 2 mini burritos (which in theory you had to eat with that) and on top of that, in the survey they ask you what you want them and gave me some that did not correspond, I could only eat one of them because the other one I did not like. We have to say that they took into account the other person's food intolerances. We went straight to the gas station and were dropped off there, not at the same point where we got on, however, they made us get back on the boat as they were told that leaving passengers there was forbidden. They were in a big hurry to see a baby whale (they scoffed at each other). Hire another company for this tour

Lousy, find another company. - Leaving aside the issue that we didn't see any sharks or anything and we were 5h on the boat, that that's nature and you can't control... We found the deal awful, the worst of the whole trip. We were alone with 4 of the company, we got bored infinitely, they didn't give us conversation or anything. They could tell things about sharks among other marine animals, anecdotes, I don't know... Something. It is a very expensive tour to feel this bad and disappointed. There are people who aren't good at dealing with people. I don't doubt your knowledge, but public attention is not your thing. And they'd have to have plan B if, luckily, sharks don't show up, even if it's taking you to a nice snorkeling spot.
