• Chianti Road - Journey through the Chianti region. This Tuscan area is celebrated for its endless rolling hills adorned with grain or sunflowers, and a lush green valley filled with vineyards. It’s no surprise that this region, including Castellina, is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The picturesque Etruscan village features a fortress dating back to the 15th century. • Monteriggioni - Monteriggioni is a medieval walled town situated on a natural hillock, constructed between 1214 and 1219. During the Middle Ages, it served as a strategic defensive fortification in the conflicts between Siena and Florence. The town successfully resisted numerous attacks from both the Florentines and the forces of the Bishop of Volterra.
