The journey begins in the serene Tuscan countryside at Podere Barbarella, located just outside San Gimignano. Here, the local host and the Acqua di San Gimignano team will provide a brief introduction to the workshop.

Participants will learn about San Gimignano’s PDO saffron, famously referred to as the region’s “red gold,” and its historical significance. The guide will discuss how local raw materials inspire the fragrances used in the workshop.

During a guided smelling session, participants will explore various fragrance notes and essences that are tied to the Tuscan landscape. They will learn how top, heart, and base notes interact and how a perfume is composed.

Step by step, participants will blend selected notes and experiment with combinations until they create a scent that embodies their personality, emotions, and memories. Acqua di San Gimignano will provide assistance throughout the creative process.

At the conclusion of the experience, participants will bottle their custom-made fragrance oil to take home as a distinctive memento of Tuscany.
