• PARAPENTE SAN GIL - Paragliding in the Chicamocha Canyon

This flight is renowned as one of the premier introductory paragliding experiences globally and the largest in South America, offering a breathtaking view of Colombia’s landscape.

The flight duration is approximately 20 to 25 minutes, reaching altitudes between 500 to 2400 meters above the take-off point, depending on conditions, with a take-off slope 900 meters above the Chicamocha River.

This activity is scheduled from 9 am to noon, contingent on weather conditions. The return to San Gil is around 1:30 pm.

The flight location is in the Palo Blanco village within the municipality of Aratoca, an hour from San Gil and five minutes from PANACHI park.

The Chicamocha Canyon provides an ideal setting for thermal flights, enhanced by its stunning scenery.
