SF Running Art in Nature Tour
Run past the Golden Gate Park, the Richmond District, and the forested trails of the Presidio, scoping out art installations and ending at the DeYoung museum. Step out of the urban environment and into the beautiful natural surroundings of San Francisco's many parks and coastal trails.
What You Will Do
- Set off on a guided six-mile run, lasting approximately 1.5 hours, along pavement and dirt trails with several hills and impressive views
- Explore the Presidio, from Lovers Lane to Inspiration Point, discover the historic Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, then finish your run at the famed De Young Museum
- See three outdoor art installations, including Andy Goldsworthy’s “Wood Line,” “Spire,” and “Fault Line”
