Wonderful experience and learning tour. We loved the walk.
This was an awesome tour! Kathy was so informative and down to earth! Castro is such an amazing place!
Absolutely loved this. So much amazing history here and Kathy is a great host. Definitely good to have seen the Harvey Milk film or read the book before too.
Would like added to the tours humanitarian and civil rights some more of the actual shops, houses, tips for earing and going out.
Engaging, knowledgeable and passionate guide. A good mix of culture, politics, history and fun. Highly recommended.
Kathy is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about SF, Castro, and the community. It was a lovely, educational, interesting, and fun walking tour. Have already told friends how great it is and would definitely recommend to others.
This tour was really awesome!!! I learned a lot about gay culture and yes it is an actual culture. Was saw all the Harvey Milk tribute areas including the plaza, school, library, old camera shop and restaurant.
The Historical LGBTQ tour was fantastic. Cathy was so informative, professional and had a great sense of humour. This tour focuses on LGBTQ civil rights but as Cathy so eloquently presented it, it's about Human Rights. It was a very moving and unforgettable tour so thank you Cathy for making our trip to SF to special. We would highly recommend this tour if you're going to SF and it's superb value for money!
Kathy was great - lots of awesome information. It’s clear she is passionate about the culture and we’ll informed about the past present and future of LGBTQ rights and issues. Our group had good discussions, some laughs, and got on very well. It was awesome!
The guide was a local, so she gave us a lot of interesting facts about the neighborhood, not just Wikipedia stuff.
Kathy was very knowledgeable and a pleasure meet. I have read about the Castro District and Harvey Milk for years and it was nice to actually have a female perspective on all of the events. I actually learned new things about events that occurred in the mid sixties. I would recommend her for sure.
Fantastic tour, Kathy is an amazing guide!
Kathy was an amazing Ambassador of the neighborhood. It was a great tour with lots of positive group discussion with further tour-mates from around the globe. Would recommend this tour to friends and strangers.
Kathy was an excellent guide through the Castro and its unique history. She also brings with her a personal knowledge of the community that really made this tour a great experience. We would recommend any visitor or to San Fran take this tour as one of their first outings. It will really give you a good lay of the Castro District that will prove to be invaluable over the course of your trip.
Our tour guide, Kathy, was a wealth of knowledge! She gave us a fantastic tour with great insight to the rich LGBTQ history of the area. I can't wait to come back and learn more.
I live a few blocks away and learned great things about my neighborhood's history and culture that are fascinating. Great date idea!
Hi Kathy we are home now. We have left our review on tripadvisor. We both really enjoyed the tour and thank you very much. You have a fantastic knowledge of not just the Castro but San Francisco in general. You made the tour informative but also great fun. It was nice that a group of strangers from diverse backgrounds and regions were encouraged by yourself to interact.
