Russian River And Wine Tasting - 5/5.. Trevor was great and we all had a wonderful time! The food was wonderful and so were the experiences. The one experience had an author talk which made it even more exciting at the winery.

It’s all about the Kendall Jackson Estate Winery - This wine tasting tour was quite the experience. We were picked up at our hotel by David and he was even a touch early. On the way out to the wine region he did make a couple of stops to allow us to take pictures of scenic areas in San Francisco. Our first winery was the Hook & Ladder and it was ‘average’. Then we stopped at the Kendall Jackson estate and it was phenomenal. The wines were exceptional and the 5 course meal we were served was truly gastronomical. My wife and I have not stopped talking about this excursion. I would not hesitate to do it again and I highly highly recommend this to anyone who wishes to spend a pleasant afternoon at the wineries!

Fantastic day of wine and nature! - Could not fault this tour. Had an excellent day! The tour guide was beyond helpful who went out of his way to assist me with an unexpected medical issue. Once all sorted the day continued. Having done Napa before id say id say I prefer it over Sonoma but if seeking to explore some different wine country with some amazing nature this is the day for you!

Fun day! - This is a small group tour which I was especially thankful for when I saw the huge buses Muir Woods. Our guide was Anthony. He knew every detail of every stop. We stopped at Muir Woods before it got crowded. Next we visited a nice winery which also had a Mission Museum. We then had lunch on our own in Sonoma, but he gave general information about shops and restaurants. After lunch we stopped at a quaint winery with excellent wine and then a larger, upscale winery which was lovely and quite scenic. It was a nice day visiting three distinctly different types of wineries which all offered lovely wine tasting experiences. I stepped on the small bus (14 seats) at 8:15 am and stepped off at my hotel at 5:15ish. Anthony also provided interesting facts and recommendations in the city of SF while picking up and dropping off everyone at their hotels. It was a fun day.

AMAZING! - This trip was by far one of the best parts (if not the best part!) of our trip to San Francisco. 2 friends and I booked it as part of our girls trip and from the on time pick up to the perfect lunch (recommended by the driver, Paul.), to the wonderful lessons about wine making (made even more interesting by all the wine sampling), to the stop by Mrs. Doubtfire's house (from the movie), and an incredible view of the Golden Gate bridge, this was AMAZING. The driver was so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly he made the trip worthwhile. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a tour so much! Don't hesitate. It's worth every penny!! PS. be prepared to pay $10 for entrance to Muir woods. I didn't realize that wasn't included so it was a tad suprising, but no big deal. All other entrance fees were paid.

Mixed feelings - This tour started off very rough. We booked through Viator and the tour operator said they only saw a reservation for 2 instead of my family of four so there weren't enough seats in the van. We showed them our tickets which included payment for four and they went to work trying to fix it. It took a few hours to resolve when they sent a 2nd van to split the parties up. Brian, our guide, was extremely apologetic and went out of his way to make-up for the error. He was a fantastic guide as well with a ton of energy and information. The Muir Woods visit was just the right amount of time to take in the forest and still be able to enjoy Sonoma square and the 3 wineries. The wineries were good, not great. I'm used wine tastings having palette cleansers in btw tastings but none of the wineries did. In the 2nd winery we visited, after the tastings the host immediately came to your table to take your order and seemed a little aggravated if you weren't buying bottles to take home. It felt pressured and off-putting. This winery didn't have a store area either that you could just take some time to browse. Overall this was a good tour for the price and I would recommend to friends as long as they book directly and not use Viator.
