The tour guide was somewhat rude. Towards the end of the tour at Sausalito, I asked him about the ferry back and he went on about how I better tip him before I go off. Needless to say, I was obviously going to tip and that’s why I asked him otherwise I would just not come back. But it was aggressive in the way he kept asking and he was like do you know what I’m talking about as if i don’t understand English even though he has already interacted with me in the tour earlier so he knew I did. my hands were full of things but he was expecting me to magically within a second swing out some cash. It takes time to put things down and open your purse. Quite rude.

Our tour was canceled within an hour of the prescribed time. The tour provider did not let Viator know that they had canceled the tour so when we were receiving conflicting signals about cancellation Vitator said the trip was not canceled so we continued to spend money and time to get to the pick up location. When we finally reached Kelsi by phone she stated the trip was canceled she was very unapologetic and simply said we could go at 2 PM rather than 9 AM. She was unwilling to give us any concession after we spent money to get to the pick up location and stated she would check with her boss and call me back which she never did. We ended up paying again and going at 2 PM. The tour guide was wonderful, but the organizational skills and customer service skills of Kelsey are horrible, she does not belong in the service industry, she screwed up and rather than making it right she just ignored it by actually lying about the 2pm tour not happening either. Book with a more reliable company who gives feedback to Viator the booking agent.

my partner and I didn't make it to the tour on 2/14/26, due to terrible traffic and we left with plenty of time since we were travelling from Fresno Ca, we were 20 minutes behind, and I contacted the tour guide, and they said my date could be changed that they would call me back. they never did and i called again and they were rude! We didn't get the tour or my money back! Our Valentine's Day was ruined!
