Great day spent! - What a fantastic day spent seeing the beautiful countryside and added to the experience of seeing the beautiful Redwoods! The vineyards and wineries were all so different from each other and each offered different experiences. Really enjoyed the day and Frank made the day all that much enjoyable!

The best (adult) family tour! - Our family couldn’t have had a better day together! Randall shared so much knowledge not only about Northern California but about wine; most importantly, we could feel his passion.

Great experience with Ben! - We had such a fun and easygoing day with Extranomical Tours that honestly, this was one of the highlights of our trip to San Francisco! Ben picked us up right on time and immediately set the tone for a smooth, enjoyable day. There were about 18–20 people on the bus, which felt like a great group size. As we drove, Ben shared interesting facts and stories about the places we were passing, which made the ride fly by. Our first stop was Muir Woods National Monument, and it was absolutely magical. The redwoods are breathtaking. Since there’s no cell service there, having a clear meeting time made everything stress-free. We loved being able to explore at our own pace without worrying about coordinating. It also felt completely safe leaving our belongings on the bus while we walked through the woods. After that, we headed to Sonoma Valley for wine tasting. We started at Mayo Family Winery, a charming small, family-owned winery. The tasting was intimate and relaxed, and we decided to upgrade for some additional exclusive wines, which was definitely worth it. We then had lunch at Sonoma Plaza, which was perfect because there are so many different restaurants and cafés to choose from. It was nice having options and a little time to wander around. Next up was Ru Vango Winery, where we enjoyed wine in a beautiful setting with vineyard views. Walking around with a glass of wine in hand and soaking in the scenery was such a relaxing experience. Just a small tip: like any vineyard, it’s a natural setting, so be mindful of your surroundings while exploring. Our last stop was Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, and wow this place felt grand and beautiful. We learned about different grape varieties and winemaking traditions while tasting some excellent wines. The property itself is gorgeous, with terra cotta wine vessels, a lovely fountain, lemon trees, and elegant interiors where they host weddings and events. We were pleasantly surprised to also sample olive oils from The Olive Press at this location. They offered samples of their flavored EVOOs and vinegars, which were delicious and such a fun bonus! On the way back, we stopped for stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, which was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Everything felt well organized, relaxed, and enjoyable from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the San Francisco area!

SF wine tour with Ben - Ben, our tour guide and driver, was very personable and funny. He had a solid knowledge base for just about everything we had questions for, including suggestions for the rest of our time in sf. The Muir woods were as always amazing, and the 3 wineries had a nice selection of delicious local flavor. Also the venues were very nice, extravagant even. Boasting wonderful views and amazing artworks.
