The tour includes visits to small, family-run establishments serving traditional dishes — such as La Palma Mexitessen, the oldest Latino-owned business in the Mission, known for making fresh tortillas since 1953.
As participants stroll with their guide, they will capture street art on camera at locations like Balmy Alley, which showcases numerous murals created over the years. They will also enjoy meals at our selected restaurants, experiencing a wide range of local flavors, from champurrado to street-style tacos, and the renowned Mission burrito at El Farolito.
Participants will also learn the stories behind the art and cuisine, shared from a local perspective.
