The world’s first... - The world’s first Chinatown. (Learned that on the tour) Without the tour you would never understand and appreciate how special it is. Ryan Curtis was our guide. Wonderful.

Wonderful intro to Chinatown, with great food and insiders’s view - Lovely experience. Thorough review of Chinatown, its history, culture, cuisine and much more. Good introduction to food and atmosphere. Very nice to go into different shops for tea — a great expert and samples of all kinds — breakfast buns, noodles, dumplings and even a fortune cookie factory. Guide friendly and helpful and knowledgeable.

Overall five star experience! - Isabella was an excellent guide. Not only did we have delicious and interesting food experiences, we also had a wonderful overview of San Francisco history. Particularly fascinating was the fortune cookie factory… If ever you wondered how they’re made, here’s your chance to see it firsthand.

Interesting and personal tour - I had a great time on this tour! Andre was a great storyteller and tried to show us as much of Chinatown as possible. He seemed to be friends with so many locals! The stories were super engaging, the food was so good, and I ended up learning a lot about San Francisco’s history. Fun, informative, and definitely worth checking out!

Good food in Chinatown and Little Italy - Andre showed us a lot about Chinatown and we were able to enjoy food we were unfamiliar with. Got a little of the daily life there as well.

Great Chinatown history tour - This was more a history and culture tour than a foodie tour. Our guide, Scott, was a wealth of information and was able to weave history and pop culture together in a single tour. Scott was exceptional at keeping our attention and involving us in the questions and answers. I would say that some of the food stops had great food (e.g. "Scott's noodles" - these are off-menu, the Vital Tea Leaf Shop) whereas the rest was just okay. I would definitely recommend you go for the history, but if you're only interested in food, I might forgo a tour and find places on your own.

Chinatown experience including food and tea - Andre was a GREAT tour guide. We kept a quick steady pace, that allowed us to see so many things and try food and teas. His knowledge of the area was outstanding and his concern to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves ensured everyone got what they hoped for on the trip.

SF China Town - Andre was so knowledgeable. We have been to SF China Town many times but he pointed out statues and murals that we hadn’t noticed before. The food selection was delicious.

This was more of a... - This was more of a history tour than a food tour, but I really enjoyed it. Food was good but learning the history was fantastic.
