Frequently featured in photographs, guide books, movies, and TV series like ‘Full House’, the Painted Ladies have gained international recognition. To the local community, they serve as a beloved emblem of our city and its past. These multicolored residences are all privately owned and seldom available for public viewing. The azure Painted Lady is noted for its authenticity and preservation amongst the seven houses lined up. Its interior narrates nearly 174 years of a family’s chronicles in the city. This isn’t an attempt to replicate an 1890 home, nor is it a tour aimed to provide interior design inspiration. The aim is for visitors to appreciate the period furniture and artwork, and find the tales captivating.

• This tour is not a good fit for small children under 12.
• We accept single reservations- . However, there must be at least 2 guests per tour.
• Non commercial photos inside the home are fine. No Videos please.
• Guests must commit to the full 90 minutes tour- (host cannot leave the tour to see you out)
• Please No latecomers. After 5 minutes the tour moves from the steps inside…Tour is then closed.
• Visitors must be able to do about 45 stairs in the one hour. Additionally, there are not always places to sit. Choose accordingly by your ability. This is a private home.
