Following your city tour, you’ll be conveniently dropped off at Pier 33 around 12:00 PM, allowing you time to grab a quick snack before your 1:00 PM ferry to Alcatraz. Be sure to check in by 12:30 PM at the main Alcatraz ticket booth with a valid ID to receive your official ticket.
On the island, explore at your own pace with a self-guided audio tour of the former prison, featuring stories from past inmates and guards. Ferries back to San Francisco run frequently, so you can return whenever you’re ready. Your day concludes at Pier 33.
