Very professional. This experience was safe for my family and interesting for my boys. This was a birthday gift for my wife and I’m happy about the whole thing.

For our one year anniversary, my husband and I decided to do something special by going on the most beautiful and peaceful hot air balloon ride by Compass Balloons. When arriving we were educated and reassured about what to expect during the ride. Then, we had champagne, fruit, and cheese--which truly added such a sweet touch. During the balloon ride, the pilot was very safe and diligent. It was an amazing adventure and I definitely recommend Compass Balloons!

The crew was great. Courteous, hard working and helpful. My reasons for not giving five stars are as follows: 1. The address you give for the 5:15 meeting is incomplete. You give a number on Villa Cardiff that is not posted on the site which is a park and ride. You need to say in your literature or other communications that 1969 is a vacant lot that, as far as we could see is unmarked. I pulled into the lot, not sure if I was in the right place or not so I saw a worker from the recycle business and asked him if this was 1969. He said "Are you looking for the balloon people?" Well, up until that time I was keeping what we were there for a secret from my lady companion. I tried to stop him before he got out the complete balloon question but it was too late. So the surprise was out about 30 minutes early which is no big thing (the worker felt so badly that he had given it away but it wasn't his fault) but could have been avoided with proper directions. 2. I'm 84 years old and you might say what the hell are you doing on this ride anyway, but it was difficult for me to climb in and out of the basket. Made it, with some help, but a ladder would have been more practical than trying to put my foot in that slot and swinging a leg over. I'm an ex-Marine and former athlete but the old carcass lacks a lot of flexibility these days. 3. The hot air blasts down on the passengers is uncomfortable. Couldn't that air that is blasted down into the basket as you blast it into the balloon be diverted OUT rather than DOWN? Surely technology has an answer to that need. Want to say again how great the crew and pilot were and the ride itself (minus the above) was a beautiful experience.
