Escapism was great. The staff was very helpful, attentive and professional. The room and puzzles were very interesting. A group of 13 and 14 years old had a lot of fun. Thank you Escapism.

When asking for clues it was very difficult to clearly hear the clues. We had to ask a couple times, which impacted our time.

The room itself was great and we had a lot of fun doing it. The only thing keeping the experience from 5 stars was the game master. He was rude, condescending and had a really bad attitude from the minute we got there. We were excited about being there and whenever anyone would even start to ask a question, he would rudely tell us to wait until the end. When we were finally able to ask questions he was super condescending about answering, when he would answer. For example, one question I asked, once we were done, was if the other room, The Attic, would be too scary to do with a 9 and 12-year old. He responded snarkily and said, "you'll just have to try it and see." Even when we were trying to say something to each other before we started, he got exasperated and told us we needed to stay quiet and listen. We had kids with us who were excited and asked him, as we headed to the door, if the room was hard, he told us to "calm down" and was visibly irritated. Other than working with him, the experience was great! We also didn't need any hints, so our interaction with him was limited once we were in the room, which helped :)
