    Whale Watching in San Diego

First off the Captain we had was fantastic - Kevin! (Sorry I don't know his last name.) He was extremely knowledgeable and expertly confident in his sailing abilities. He was gracious, entertaining and made sure that we were safe and having fun. Could you email us his last name and the name of the sailboat we sailed on (March 24 - the 3:30 sail). He promised to add our email to his blog so we can live vicariously through his adventure sailing to New Zealand this Fall. (you have our email on file when I booked) We did want to know the name of the vessel we sailed on and forgot to look at the back of the boat (I think Kevin docked bow into the deck - so we never saw the name). No whales ... but that's understandable that it is not a guarantee. The sail was fabulous though. Also - tell Kevin we greatly appreciated his referral of eating at Mitch's (which we did - AMAZING fish!) .. and Jake's in Del Mar. He knows his area restaurants!!
We had a wonderful time on our 3 hour sailing tour. My husband, our 2 sons, and I were visiting from NJ, and we booked the tour to go whale watching. We were disappointed that the conditions that day prevented us from being able to do that, which is really the only reason we weren't completely satisfied. Otherwise, it was great to have the sailboat to ourselves, and Captain Kevin was very friendly and informative and great with our kids, who think the trip was definitely one of the best parts of our visit to San Diego. Overall, despite not being able to whale-watch, it was super relaxing and fun. Thank you!
Beautiful boat. Had everything we needed/wanted onboard. Great captain. Very personal experience.
We had a blast!!! (again). Will be back as soon as possible! Small, fun group made the experience truly special.
It was a beautiful day, the sailing was great, our Skipper was very nice (Capitan Art). But we saw no whales.
