The room was fantastic and we loved that part of the day! The gentleman working the front desk must have been new because he wasn't very confident, and caused the ticket purchasing process and introduction process to be quite difficult and unclear. The hint given meant a game master came into the room which seemed to disrupt the intensity, would have been nice to just have it via the walkie talkie or TV. The Gallery was incredibly done and set the bar very high for any other escape rooms we'll do in the future!
The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. We had our son's 11th birthday party here and they made it so much fun for all of the kids. I highly recommend this place!
The key for the final wscsoevwas left out of its hiding place after previous group finished. Rather sloppy management.
This was my second puzzle room experience. The first was "The Attic" with my kids and a couple of their friends. That was a terrific experience, however, I limited my participation so that the kids could really enjoy themselves. Last night I did "Gallery 3919" with friends and we all had a blast. We'll be coming back soon to try "The Dungeon". The staff is very friendly and the facility is top notch. Great fun and highly recommended.
I brought a group of student leaders from USD and we had a great time. It was awesome to be able to use one room and the staff was very helpful and friendly!
I thought that once I "bought" the room by paying for 8 I could add a few more at no cost. I was surprised when I found out I had to pay for the extra 3. That was unclear.
Was a great experience! Looking forward to coming back and experiencing another room!
Gallery was much smaller than I expected...bigger room would have been better for group attendance.
I was really impressed, it was more complex, and exciting than I expected. We had a great time, it was an accomplishment to escape.
The employees were great! The gallery puzzle was unique! Thrilling and intense for the mind! Just wondering if there is handicap access to your upstairs office for my friends. It would be great if accessibility was discussed on your website! But I will also call to verify :)
I think our room might not have been set up properly?? We were able to get into a box that wasn't locked and that could have thrown us off a bit. But otherwise we had a good time. Thank you for asking.
This was the perfect team building exercise. Everyone in the group was able to contribute in this fun escape game. The staff at Escapism was extremely friendly and helpful making the afternoon awesome.
We had never been to a puzzle room before. It was fun, inventive, challenging and well run. We're planning on doing it again in the future.
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Made it a great experience.
The room was a lot of fun. But when giving clues, it would be nicer if they weren't so direct...like more hints than just giving the answer or close to it of something we were stuck on. Not: look up and play soduko. Rather something like: make sure you're looking in all directions so that you're not missing something.
Overall amazing experience. A few technical difficulties bc locks are just getting worn down so numbers/letters hard to read, obsessian hard to open. Also it would be a nice touch to have something waiting for the people as they escape. A small badge, token, toast, or tell the people coming to bring something if it is a party. Overall would totally recommend!!
We had a fun time and we escaped the room but we couldn't have done it without some "hints". Most of the clues were well thought out and pretty sequential: solve this clue and it leads to the next clue; solve that one and it leads to the next. In a previous Escape Roof adventure, the clues were more interdependent on each other which made it much more challenging: solve multiple clues and piece the information together to find the next clue. In that respect, the Escapism room was simpler than their competitor's room. It was fun - I would recommend it to friends.
The overall concept is really fun and amazing. Some of the puzzles were really tough. The main thing that made me choose 4/5 stars is the functionality of some of the locks and boxes in the room. For example the green box with the " circle" you can barely see the circles. The clue is hard enough to find but the owner should redue the circles so you can see them. Also most of the locks are testy and didn't open the first time we had the correct answer. Either change out the locks, grease them, or tell the customers that they need to shake the locks etc. It was frustrating and time consuming struggling with the locks when we had the correct answers. This does not help the process. It will lead to more people winning the challenge, which most people want to do. Other then some items not working the Gallery is amazing. Very challenging but a lot of fun and my group will try another room.
We signed up for a team building event. It was everyone's first time in a puzzle room, except mine (I did a "Scrap" puzzle room in San Jose, CA). Overall, it was a pleasurable experience that the team loved. There are two reasons for giving 4 instead of 5 starts. 1) We were able to "accidentally" open one of the doors early. We also found an extra (broken) picture above the additional rooms, which lost us some time and was confusing. 2) I couldn't help but compare my experience here to the Scrap puzzle room. This room was less challenging and exhilarating than the other room. I also suggest adding more funny props for the picture after. Signs are a hit and could even help with advertising (i.e. incorporating the word "Escapism" on the sign) if the attendees post the pictures on social media. The staff was hospitable and welcoming. The place was also easy to find and I liked that you could accommodate a private party of 8.
We all loved it and had a great time. We'd like to come back. The only issues were that one of the locks didn't work, even though several of us tried it with the correct code. Someone came in to tell us that we needed to figure out that lock. We told her the correct code and she had to do it for us. Then someone had to come in to give us another clue at the end, even though we weren't stumped yet. They must have known it was a clue most folks needed, as it was definitely not something we would've tried. It would have been better if we could have figured the whole thing out without any prompting, as we were intent on doing so. But glad they helped, just wish they didn't need to. Other than that, we look forward to coming back and trying the Attic! Thanks for the fun!
based on another experience with an Escape Room, we thought this one was much more confusing and needed a starting point
I would have been a bit better of an experience if more attention was given when we escaped from the room. A prize or sign up on a recognition board. Perhaps you can give out buttons for each member, great marketing as participants wear the button and share their experience.
We had a great time solving puzzles as a family. It was fun and intellectually stimulating too!
The experience was well curated, and lots of fun.
The briefing prior to entering the room was rather lame. We were told we could ask for 4 hints during our hour time in the room, but when we asked for a hint, the staff member came in and said she didn't know.
We had a great time!
It was so fun! Staff (vallaria) was also really excellent!
My co-workers and I attended Gallery 3919 as a team building event, prior to going none of us had ever played an "escape the room" type game. We LOVED it! It was so fun to see everyone out of the boring office setting. Throughout the game we got to see different sides of each other, each other's strengths, limits of frustrations, but most importantly we got to see each other's shear excitement when we unlocked/figured out a problem. I would recommend Gallery 3919 to any and everyone! Can't wait to come back!
Lots of fun
