Whale watching in San Diego is a year-round adventure! At Next Level Sailing, the team ensures an exceptional experience with highly skilled guides, achieving a 100% success rate in spotting the majestic King of the Deep during the winter season.
This is one of the top outdoor activities in San Diego. The gray whale watching season runs from mid-December to April. From April to August, blue whales and fin whales can be seen feeding in the area. Humpback whales and minke whales are visible throughout the year, especially in spring, summer, and fall. Onboard the 141-foot sailing yacht, the Yacht America, guests can witness a variety of whales in their natural environment. Besides whales, dolphins, sea lions, and plenty of naval activity are also part of the experience. An F-18 might even soar overhead!
Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic, along with friends and family, for a delightful day on the water.
