The effort was worth it -- excellent aerobic workout with great scenery! - Enrique was super nice and helped fit the bike and helmet before we left, told us a bit about the initial climb and the route, and off we went! I am from San Francisco, ride frequently, and very accustomed to climbing hills. This is definitely a climbing ride in order to reach the great vistas, the parks, the caves of the tour. I was definitely winded and we stopped whenever I or the other guest needed a break. Enrique described our visits along the way and really made it an enjoyable tour. He's outgoing, talkative, and we learned a bit about his life in San Cris. You will enjoy this most if you are a solid B+ rider rider in shape and ready to climb on roads, gravel, some rocks, dirt, to a bit of technical on double track. If you are a beach cruiser rider, perhaps there are better options to choose from. I used every single gear available to climb. It was a wonderful way to see some of San Cris' scenery outside of town!

Exploring the hills around San Cristobal - Mauricio and Zoila were incredible leaders taking us on a circle route to and from San Cristobal. They were very considerate of our biking limitations and they set a pace that made us feel so comfortable. Riding mountain bikes we climbed some intense uphills, sailed downhill, stopped at miradors and a former mill, walked around a centuries old church, and walked up and through a cave system with stalactites and stalagmites. We were thrilled by our adventure.

Great experience ! - Great cycling trip with Luis as our guide. He told us about the sites in English and Spanish. Very pretty tour through the country side outside of San Cristobal, with stops at 2 parks and an old church. Mixture of dirt road and paved road and just a little bit of single track. To me it was a fairly easy trip but we had some folks on the trip who didn't bike much and struggled on the hills ( up and down) . Overall, a great experience!

Good tour in the amazing countryside - Very good tour - but also challenging. Recommended to be in good shape. Many good stops: Two caves, old Church, slides, and single-track downhill tour for the more adventurous (and to track for the less adventurous).

Amazing trip - Really amazing trip. We had a great time with Luis. The route is tough but still doable for all levels. The trip includes intrance for several places (caves & and a church) which is really nice. Really recommend it!

Great Experience! - This was an incredible day of riding!! You do need a good level of fitness as the first hour is all uphill. Luis the guide was really kind and supportive and let me take regular breaks. He is really knowledgeable and the visits to the old church and the caves were really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this trip!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Amazing experience! Highly recommend this bike tour. I did not expect all the different terrain that we covered, but that’s what made the ride that much better.

Tours in history - Very father the route through some villages near San Cristobal and the visit of the grottoes in El Arcotete and El Mammut are worth it, it is a somewhat technical route with high climbs and rock descents for people who have already done MTB before since it involves some skill and resistance.
