Fantastic fishing trip - 8 days’ fishing with Outfitters - 3 days Collon Cura camping + 2 days Limay for trout; 3 days Parana in Arroyo Seco (Santa Fe) for Golden Dorado. What a fantastic experience. The best guides who all knew the rivers so well. Quantity on the Collon Cura; quality on the Limay; crazy mad dorados on the Parana. Great fishing, perfect variety, stunning scenery, wonderful team - it could not have been better. Plus Annie is the best cook in Argentina.

Incredible Day Spent Fishing, Drifting, & Eating - My partner and I went on the Full Day Fly Fishing excursion with Outfitters Patagonia. It was an incredible experience made even better by a knowledgeable and engaging guide in Renzo. The beautiful Limay river, plentiful trout to catch, and afternoon lunch on the water all made this a once in a lifetime trip. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Bariloche region!

Don’t Miss Fly Fishing Adventure - There were 3 couples in 3 boats with German, Nahuel and Sebastian. What a fantastic day we had along the Limay River. German was our guide and was friendly, patient, (as I had never fly-fished before), and extremely helpful teaching technique, and sharing pointers. We stopped for a lovely lunch mid-day and appreciated the hotel pick-up and drop-off service. Everything was exactly as described on Trip Advisor. If you have the chance, book Outfitters Patagonia!

Excellent fishing experience with fly on the Limay River with the guide Nahuel - The fly fishing experience on the Limay River was fantastic, my wife and I have some experience in sport fishing, but we had never used the fly technique. The help and guidance of the guide Nahuel were fundamental to the result of the fishing. We picked up several Iris arc trutes. Fantastic experience!!! I recommend!!!

So fun.....must book! - We had an incredible experience with Outfitters Patagonia on a recent family fly fishing trip on the Limay River. There were six of us, all somewhat new to fly fishing, and we were paired with three fantastic guides who made the day both fun and approachable. They were patient, knowledgeable, and truly made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged. The day was super fun from start to finish and an overall great experience for our whole family. Martin was especially helpful as he was super responsive with all of my pre-booking questions, handled the reservation smoothly, and made the day of coordination easy and stress-free. My family absolutely loved it, and I would highly recommend Outfitters Patagonia to anyone looking for a memorable and well-run fly fishing experience while in Barliloche. Magical trout experience - All aspects of my trip with Outfitters Patagonia were top notch. Starting with the prompt and helpful correspondence with Martin which made the all booking and logistics a breeze. Then my solo fishing trip with my guide Juan, who has outsanding knowledge of the river and placed us in perfect positions to catch the strong Patagonian trout. He rotated from streamers to drys and back several times as dictated by the river and nature resulting in plenty of catches of rainbows and browns on both setups throughout the day. We fished the Limay River which itself is magical it truly has crystal clear water and it changes character around every bend. We also stopped for a quick shore lunch consisting of a nice steak and a Malbec. A nice upgrade above my typical lunch when fishing. I highly recommend booking a trip with Outfitters Patagonia. It's a trip that I will remember for a long time.

3 Days Fishing the Rio Collon Cura with Outfitters Patagonia - We were looking for a Float / Camp / Fish experience while travelling Argentina and Chile. Following some online research on what was available in the Bariloche area - I contacted Martin from Outfitters Patagonia. Martin replied the same day to my enquiries and was so helpful and responsive throughout the whole process including making bank transfer payments in advance. We booked a 3 day / 2 night fly fishing adventure. I am a passionate fly angler while my wife is a reluctant angler but likes to have a go now and again! We were collected from our hotel just outside Bariloche at 8am prompt. A 4WD with 2 large inflatables on a trailer. I presumed would would head locally to the River Limay just out side of town. Instead we drove nearly 200 kms to the Rio Collon Cura. Not what we initially expected but apparently the fishing pressure and lack of number of anglers would make a better fishing experience. 3 1/2 hours later we were unloading and tackling up. We set off fishing and floating while the 2nd boat passed us to head on down and set up camp. We settled in to fishing in a way we’d not tried previously, on a moving boat. Our Guide, Juan, was patient and very knowledgeable. He knew where the fish would be and the method to use at each spot. My wife was first to catch, a lovely wild Rainbow, then, much to my frustration she had a second fish! Casting can prove difficult with the Patagonian wind coming from behind while you’re in the back of the boat and I inadvertently hooked Juan right through his ear! I felt absolutely terrible! In all my years of fishing I’d never done anything like this. We took some pictures so Juan could see what was going on. With that he pushed the hook on through, I clipped off the barb and he pulled it back out. We pulled up to a bank where Juan hauled a large cool box out and set up the most amazing lunch, of salads, potatoes and other delights including Beer and Malbec!! After lunch we floated and fished on Until we reached camp! Gin and Tonics were ready with ICE! In the middle of nowhere!! We were treated to the most amazing dinner and bank fished until dark taking Rainbows on dry flies. We retired to our tent which had been set up for us and slept like logs! Next morning I woke early and the fish were already rising so grab the rod and another nice Rainbow before breakfast. Breakfast began with cereal, fruit then bacon and eggs then off we go again! A whole days fishing the Collon Cura river. The fishing was absolutely fantastic with both of us catching well all day. The day was topped off by an amazing Brown trout that Juan put me on. By 4pm the Patagonian winds had got up and we headed for camp which was a repe of the previous evening with amazing Chicken Milanese as the main course and of course lots of Malbec! Day 3 and it was my turn to hook myself, again Juan took over and soon the hook was out. The day was sunny and the Mayfly hatches were the most incredible thing I have ever witnessed as a fly angler. The fish were rising every where, Juan steered us to a lovely side channel where we fished dry’s until lunch time….more Malbec!! Finally we floated back to the pick up point where the 4WD was waiting and the boats were loaded and the long drive back to Bariloche. A thoroughly enjoyable, memorable experience with a very professional outfitters company. I would recommend Outfitters Patagonia for your Argentinian fishing adventures.

Really good waters, knowledgable guides. A pity about the wind on the first day but the second day was really perfect. - Drifting along the Rio Limay and using different techniques to catch fish was a wonderful experience. It is certainly worth doing two days.
