- Ruta Nacional Secundaria 142 - We will have fun in a very safe paddle board experience, you will get a basic technical lesson about the SUP activity and safety, I will join you to guide in secure areas protected from the winds and share with you the magic places around the lake of your choice discovering water jungle spots with possibilities to observe wild life like otters, turtles, fish, many birds and much more, I will be taking pictures and video and share some refreshment fruits and will be there for you making sure you have the best experience and feel safe. ATV is our new service to complement the SUP, we have beautiful tour in the mountain behind the lake with amazing views of the lake and volcanos.

Best, most authentic and... - Best, most authentic and most enjoyable experience of my trip to Costa Rica. Jose is a great guy, phenomenal teacher and made it a very relaxing, fun and enjoyable trip. 100% recommend, cant wait to go ago!

Our Favorite Adventure - We had a private kayak tour of lake Arenal in Costa Rica from Jose that was an unforgettable experience. Jose provided all the equipment, personal guidance sharing local insights about the lakes ecology, wildlife, and surrounding landscape. Jose had a snack of bananas that he brought along as well as some delicious coffee. His expertise enhanced the adventure, making it both educational and thrilling. He even pointed us to the Arenal Observatory for more adventure. We loved it! Jose's knowledge, friendliness, and enthusiasm made it one of our favorite adventures. We can not recommend him enough. Great amigo! We will definitely look him up the next time we visit. Pura Vida.

Magnificent - My experience was magnificent, the instructor of excellent quality, he taught us the techniques and very quickly we were able to learn, the tour was very nice and better to go with friends, another detail was the experience of the instructor and the connection with nature

An amazing family day in the lake - This adventure was one of our favorites during our 2 weeks stay throughout Costa Rica.
Finding tours that allowed us to include our 2yo toddler was proving complicated and then we came upon Jose’s SUP tour and we couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun guide! SUP’ing over Lake Arenal allowed us to take in the most breathtaking views we would’ve otherwise missed. We shared stories, fruit, and coffee and left with not only a great new friend, but the most amazing memories with our daughter that we will cherish for many years.
I highly recommend this for everyone!

spiritual connection to the nature - i went already two times living this incredible experience with José, i ll definitely do it more as it was just outstanding, paddling on the lake with José with the volcano arenal in the background had been for me the best experiences i lived with my family, it s just a deep connection with the present out of time and space, i do recommend to anyone visiting Costa Rica to at least spend that time with this amazing guide in the majesty of the lake arenal.he became a close friend and will cherish those moments for ever. unforgetable for sure. casa hormigas has so much soul , spiritual and connected to the essential : nature.

Must Do When In The Area - Jose is a great guide and we loved our SUP tour around the Lake Arsenal with him! We were literally the only ones in the lake. Ahead of the tour, we coordinated everything through WhatsApp ahead of time and had a great time. Would book again! Thank you 🏄🏽♀️

Beautiful morning on the Lake with Jose - Brilliant morning on Lake Arenal with Jose! The paddle boarding was great fun, very easy and not overly physical so definitely achievable and don't be worried about it. Jose is an inspiring and remarkable man that I feel blessed to have met. Definitely would recommend

Amazing Excursion! - Our family of four had an awesome trip paddle boarding on Lake Arenal! Beautiful views, patient and knowledgeable guide, and a unique snack. Highly recommend this trip and the chance to see Lake Arenal from a different perspective.

Stunning lake, fantastic guide. - We are a family of 5, 3 kids 15,14 and 11. Jose met us in the car park and was immediately friendly and welcoming. He put us all at ease, it was like paddling with a friend. The lake was beautiful and Jose set a pace that was suitable for our skill level. We stopped for a few rest breaks and Jose produced snacks and drinks which was so lovely. He took photos and videos which he shared with us after the trip and they were a fantastic memento of our experience. I highly recommend using Cote Sup Safari for your paddleboarding experience, it was fantastic. Thank you Jose, Pura Vida!
