🌟🌟🌟Just Book It!🌟🌟🌟 - Such a great tour! Manuel’s team was so kind and informative and you can tell they really enjoy what they do! Don’t hesitate to book this tour, you will see a lot and learn a ton. They even turned the shuttle around to show us a sloth on the way back to our BnB. How cool is that? Add to that they they pick you up and drop you off. Couldn’t ask for more!! 🙌🙌🏆

Fun day in the nature - Husband and I had the most fun on a fully immersed nature day. Parks are nice, hikes are easy and fauna is plentiful. Didn’t get to see many animals, as the tour doesn’t straight from the path, and the path is noisy. The stairs down to the waterfall are steep, but there’s benches along the way (which I made full use of!). The waterfall was so cold I couldn’t care to go in, but it’s gorgeous I was glad to go down. My husband felt the swim was a must, but got a in and out dip. Nice day out. Easily made by the guides Miguel and Manu, who are so nice and made our day as comfortable as possible. Worth the money

Great experience with a full day of activities - Overall it was a great experience. It was a pretty intense day. Started with the volcano hike then followed by the waterfall visit which was the highlight for us. Swimming right under the waterfall was a lot of fun. You have to go down 500 steps and climb up on the way back, but it is worth it. Then we had a great local lunch. Food was tasty. Final stop was the tropical forest and hanging bridges. It started raining as we started the tour, so we couldn’t see many animals, but still it was a nice experience. Both the tour guide and the driver were very friendly and easy going. They accommodated our requests. I definetely recommend this tour.

AMAZING Adventure!! - What a great excursion, Roy, our guide was super knowledgeable about La Fortuna, volcano, area and culture. Roy even took pictures for us of our group and wildlife. These were professional pics for no additional costs. Even thought this was a long action packed day, Roy really made it fun for us. We love Costa Rica and can’t wait to come back.

Engaging Guide and Beautiful Sights - Long, Active Day - We had Mario as our guide and he was great and upbeat! You could tell he just loved his job and being around people. He honked to people on the street and waved and would say hi to guests and other tour guides and make jokes. Everyone in town seemed to know Mario even if he didn't know them lol. He took photos of us and also of the animals with our phone through the telescopic lens which turned out great. The photos on trip advisor are mostly through the telescope. Not much could we easily see with our eyes. That's the case for all these nature tours in Costa Rica.
The nature tours were great but I felt they dragged on a bit long. We stopped and looked at ants numerous times i.e.. I would suggest a little faster pace through the nature parts and not stopping to explain so much. The hanging bridges would be great if we could pause and let people go so that we could get a photo without other people in our group in the photo. The people who were first in our group got great photos without people in it and everyone else got other guests in the background. You definitely want to book this tour with a guide because otherwise you miss stuff. People without a guide were trying to stop and listen and see things but without the telescope you won't see wild life. Even binoculars is hard to see things.
You need to be of fairly good athletic ability to do every thing. Like the 400-500 stairs down to the waterfall. That would be difficult for anyone not athletic unless you took lots of breaks. Then to the volcano there are a lot of steps going up.
Tips:
- Bring a raincoat. It's not misty park for no reason!
- Bring water shoes to change into if you plan on going in near the waterfall
- Bring re-useable water bottle!!! They don't tell you this but the park doesn't allow plastic water bottles and you'll be without water most of the day if you don't have a reusable bottle.
- Bring a towel if you go in the water
- Wear tennis shoes
- You don't eat for a LONG time. We were starving and had to buy peanuts at the Mistico shop. Bring a snack. The tour only provides bottled water in the beginning.

Beautiful places and a very courteous knowledgeable tour guide. Pura vida!!! - Moderate activity , well worth a day trip. Climbing to view point and down to waterfall bit taxing but worth. The tour operators were very friendly. Thank you Miguel

Great tour guide - I'd definitely recommend this tour if you want a full day exploring some of the top tourist highlights in Arenal/La Fortuna. Our guide (Mario) was incredible. He was funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and he really seemed to enjoy his job and welcoming tourists. He made the tour particularly enjoyable and memorable. Thanks, Mario!

Crowded but pretty - It was nice to see the Arenal area highlights. This particular day suffered from large crowds everywhere and our tour group of 25 people was way too big to fully enjoy. Waterfall and bridges are beautiful but very touristy and crowded which isn't my particular style to enjoy. The volcano hike was the highlight as the group had shrank to 15 people by then and we got lucky to see a large troop of about 20 coatis walk right by our group.

Tour guide not experienced or helpful - The tour guide did not have a lot of experience and did not put a lot of effort into the tour - at the hanging bridges he solely relied on other tour guides to spot animals, at the waterfall he left us to go order lunch and hang around at the top, and during the hike it was so frustrating to see the other tour guides explain different things to their group while ours just offered to take pictures and promised to tell us a ‘story’ in the parking lot which took like two minutes. Also it’s a stretch to call that a hike - the steps of the waterfall were longer and more strenuous.
