Arenal Ecoglide Park - The Canopy Tour of Arenal Ecoglide Park is located 3.5 km west of the Catholic temple in La Fortuna de San Carlos, was built following the standards required by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute and National Insurance Institute. It consists of two cables, one sliding and the other independent cable for greater security of our users.
It consists of 11 cables, 13 platforms and a suspension bridge, the tour is divided into two sections. Nine of these platforms are in the trees, where visitors can have greater contact with nature, while releasing adrenaline in a healthy and safe way.
Within the route we can find the Tarzan Swing, which consists of a swing where we jump from a platform to a void in a forest clearing rocking for several times with special equipment, until we leave all our worries, its height reaches almost 40 meters.
The tour is distributed in 2 sections:
⢠The first consists of 6 cables and 7 platforms, with lengths up to 210 meters long and an average height of 25 meters.
⢠At the end of this second stage is the Tarzan Swing.
⢠And the second consists of 5 cables and 6 platforms, with lengths ranging from 100 meters to 430 meters.

Family fun - Very well run and fun for the whole family. From beginning to end you will feel safe and prepared. There are plenty of guides and they are all helpful.

Safe and great staff! - We went with 2 adults and a 5 and 7 year old. We had such a blast! The Tarzan swing is a must! SO. MUCH. FUN. This will definitely be a highlight of our costa rica trip. 10/10 recommend.

Perfecto - This was such an amazing experience for all ages. Youngest is 5 oldest is 60 in our family and we all loved it equally the same! The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable! Would book with them again!!

Not As Expected - I chose Ecoglide based on reviews from others than brought young children. We took my 5 year old grandson and while he has an adventurous spirit he was a little apprehensive and we were happy he’d be tandem with a guide. We expected to be able to at least see him but they insisted he be at the front of the line. I wanted one of us to go before him and one after him so we could enjoy the experience with him. Being 2 people behind him, I didn’t get to see him on a single line. At the break at the Tarzan swing he asked if we could quit. I talked him into finishing and afterward he said the guy with him wasn’t very nice, the only thing he said to him the whole time was “Sit down”. I bought the pictures and there’s not a single picture of him or the guide with him smiling. Previous reviews boasted how great the guides were at making it fun for little ones. That was not our experience at all.

Not great - I had a concerning experience at EcoGlide Arenal Park.
During the zipline tour, I was instructed by a guide to proceed while another participant was still at the end of the line. This resulted in a collision, and I suffered a broken nose and other injuries requiring medical treatment.
The company did cover my initial urgent care in Costa Rica, which I appreciated. They later indicated that the guide involved was no longer employed following the incident.
However, my total medical expenses have since exceeded $1,600 and are still ongoing. Resolving reimbursement has been difficult, and after several months, I received only a partial offer that does not come close to covering my costs.
Ziplining depends heavily on proper spacing and clear communication from guides, so this type of error is concerning from a safety standpoint.
I would encourage others to carefully consider safety practices when choosing a tour operator.
