Zip lining and White water rafting blast - We had a combined zip lining and white water rafting tour with Jackamar Nathuralist. For Ziplinig we had Miguel guide us through the experience. this was our first time ziplining and we had a blast. We did all 7 of the ziplines and the final one was the longest and had the best view. If possible get an action camera with a head mount. looking at the recording after the experience was fantastic as well. The tarzan swing was incredible. Miguel was able to explain the various fauna and flora while walking from one zipline to the other. we had a great time with Miguel after the experience and he explained the entire area and the volcanic eruption that happened in 1968 For White water rafting, we went on a long drive to get to the launch point and then an almost 2 hours on the river with multiple rapids, our guide was very experienced working in Europe, US, Africa, south america and costa rica. We found a sloth on the forrest floor during the quite period between rapids. That was something rare to observe, we were pointed to a lot of birds as well. Overall I would rate the experience as an A+ when going with family. We went during spring break and the water levels were good enough, but heard that during the rainy season it would be even better. The only thing that I heard afterwards was that there was a higher class rapids but we needed to leave early. It would not have worked for the entire family, but it would have been great for my son and me, just something to keep in mind if you really want to go on a class III rapids. The lunch at the end of this was in a private estate, that was a great way to conclude our activities. I would highly recommend Jacamar for your activities in the La Fortuna area.

Safe, Family Friendly, Adventure Tours - We did the combo ziplining & rafting. Amazing tour guides - very knowledgeable and focused on safety. Great zip lines for those nervous about heights. We had a 9 year old in one of our groups and she had no problem with any of the activities. We wore water safe shoes with good treads for both activities. Recommend bringing a bathing suit for rafting and/or change of clothes for after, because lunch is in a restaurant (delicious). You will get VERY wet rafting. My 17 year old daughter said it was one of the most fun days we have spent as a family, and we have traveled all over the world. Family Fun & Safe Tour - Amazing tour guides! They are knowledgeable & prioritize safety. Fun for all ages/skill levels - we had a 9 year old in one of the groups and she had no problem completing the activities. If you’re nervous about heights, their zip lines are a great place to try it for the first time. We wore the same shoes for zip lining & rafting - water safe shoes with a good tread. Recommend bringing a bathing suit for rafting, or wearing suit during activities, and having a change of clothes in your bag for after. After rafting, we had lunch at an amazing restaurant - food was delicious. Your bags will be safe in the office during zip lining, and on the bus during rafting. Do not bring sunglasses without a strap, or phones without a zippered pocket on either activity. You will get VERY wet while rafting. Great day!! - The whole package was very fun and well structured. The guides were fun and social. They took safety seriously and were very helpful, they also told us a lot about the environment and the animals that we saw. The experience me and my friends had was incredible, a lot of adrenaline and laughter during the day. The transport was smooth and the food included was really good. You got both starter, main course and a small cake with coffee. All in all, this activity offered many fun memories and a chance to explore la Fortuna.

Best rafting and zip lining experience! - We had the best time zip lining and rafting with Jacamar Naturalist tours. Our guides were kind, fun, knowledgeable and didn’t rush you from one activity to the next. Our rafting day was amazing- our guide Andre did a great job taking us down the rapids. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and loves to share in the excitement. We went to lunch in La Fortuna at their restaurant, and it was so quaint, and peaceful. We sat facing lush greenery and birds were flying around the whole time. Plus the food was excellent! I finished my entire plate. Would definitely recommend this activity, and if we ever go back we’ll be booking with Jacamar Naturalist tours again for sure!

Extremely fun activity! - This tour was extremely fun! There were about 8 cables of zip lining. We were given a run through on how we should Zipline and maintain safe. In between the ziplines we did the Tarzan swing (optional if you want to do it or not) and it was so fun! We saw monkeys in between the trees and Ronny and Carlitos were amazing! After the Zipline we went rafting with James and Luis. We did a quick run through on the commands to properly use the oars. There was a small area to also jump into the water which felt very refreshing. We got amazing pictures on the water and would do it again.

Amazing day - Great food, guides, and experience! Bring dry clothes for after rafting. The lunch they provide is amazing!

Best time in La Fortuna - This was one of the best days I have ever lived. This package is the BEST!!! The zip line tour was excellent! The staff were all amazing. The white water rafting was an experience I will never forget. The staff were the best and the rafting part couldn’t be any better!!! This was money well spent!!

So much fub - Such a great time with friends! We had a blast while rafting and saw so many sloths. The end was so peaceful as well.
