This small-group tour offers an ideal opportunity to explore the missions and delve into the founding of San Antonio, enriched with its vibrant history and culture. Discover Spanish history, the Coahuiltecans, and the early southwest. Gain insights into the importance of San Antonio, San Pedro Springs, and the communities that united to lay the groundwork for the establishment of the Presidio - San Antonio. The journey begins downtown, featuring: the historic La Villita; Main Plaza, San Fernando Cathedral, and Plaza de Armas. Journey along the San Antonio River to visit all the missions, with stops at Concepcion, San Jose, San Juan, Espada, and the Espada Aqueduct. The tour concludes at Mission San Antonio de Valero, famously known as the Alamo, or at the guest’s hotel. Departures are guaranteed twice daily, with no minimum guest requirement.
