Such a great tour! - Loved this tour. Comfortable ride in small bus. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about all the missions as well as San Antonio.
Played great music throughout the ride.
Water was provided. Gave us a great BBQ suggestion to Pinkerton’s a must go the best BBQ we ever had and don’t forget the smoked bread pudding for desert!

Outstanding 1/2 day tour - I recently took the 1/2 day San Antonio Mission Guided Tour with Texian Tours. Matthew was the tour guide. The tour was amazing. First, it turned out that I was the only person that had booked the tour that day. I would have been disappointed but would have understood if it had been cancelled, which some other tour companies would have done. But Texian went ahead with the tour, for which I am grateful.
The tour was amazing. I enjoyed seeing the four missions and learning about the mission system establish by the Spanish upon their arrival to Texas. Matthew was an incredible tour guide--he was a wealth of information regarding the missions and their history and answered the questions that I had.
I did this tour before I visited the Alamo, and I would definitely recommend seeing the missions first. From the tour, I had the "backstory" of the Alamo before the famous battle.
Overall--one of the better day tours I have done anywhere.

Excellent Tour and Great Organization - I would highly recommend both this tour and Texian Tours as an organization. Due to some bad weather, some Members of our party were delayed, and Texian Tours was very accommodating in changing our day at the last minute. The tour itself, lead by Matt, was excellent. Extremely informative, providing an thorough explanation of the Missions and their role in San Antonio history. When I next find myself in San Antonio, I will definitely be booking with Texian Tours again.

Great informative tour! - Joseph, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative! This was our third time in the city and we wanted to do something different other than walking around Riverwalk. The Missions were really interesting and there is a lot of history surrounding them. It went a little longer than expected but I would still recommend it to anyone who loves history and just wanting to learn something new. The tour is a great way to see all the Missions in San Antonio!

We enjoyed our tour, but… - We enjoyed our Sunday tour but were not told we wouldn’t have access to some churches because of worship. Disappointing. Joseph is a knowledgeable, experienced guide, but he needs to understand when enough is enough. It’s like drinking from a fire hose. Also, the tour is advertised as “4 hours approximately.” When he told us half way through that it would be 4-1/2 to 5 hours, we were surprised. All 5 of us had plans afterward based on a roughly 4-hour tour, and Joseph was not pleased he had to rush the end of the tour.

4+ hours of talking - Be prepared for a lot of talking, and I don't mean about the missions. Our guide was very nice, he just had a LOT to say about the politics of the time, the area as it stands now and a whole host of other things that were not mission specific.
