Worth the visit! - The entire museum was definitely interesting and informative. Sam, the gentleman who greets you at the door, was very unique and in character. The admission for 2 museums is actually pretty decent, plus they have a first responder and a military discount. It took us about 3 hours to complete both museums and eat lunch at the saloon. It was a little busy, but not to bad for 10 in the morning.

Stop by the Buckhorn saloon and grab a beer. Check out the scenery. You’ll be glad you did. - We just parked into the Buckhorn saloon to see the oldest saloon in the state of Texas. The walls were covered with hundreds of animals and they even had a Jackalope. Pop in have a beer and check out the scenery. It’s very cool.

Worth checking out - The Texas Ranger Museum was full pf so much great Texas history. Also liked seeing all of the unusual items made of horn, and the pictures made of rattles as well. This was one of the highlights of our trip to San Antonio.

Bully! - Interesting, to say the least. Very informational as well. Who knew about all this stuff. The tour and museum is definitely worth the money and the saloon is a fun little out of the way place, worth the walk from the River Walk. Go visit, have fun!

Definitely check this place out - This is a unique experience the saloon takes you back to the 1800s with the Cowboys and the whole Western décor there are numerous.. hundreds of mounted animals, you can go in and have a drink, eat at the salon bar- restaurant area but if you want to see the "museum" you need to buy an extra ticket and its a guided tour, Kind of a cross between Western ,wax museum and Ripley's believe it or not

Amazing - This place is mind boggling. There are so many “stuffed” animals of multiple species. It is like going to the zoo but all the animals are visible any time you go. I enjoyed the hall of oddities I thought I’d like the Texas Marshal museum the best but that part was just collections of things retired Marshall’s had.

No Thanks. - Such a disappointment. They have lots of artifacts making up an impressive collection but I really didn't learn much. I wish I passed on this one.

Tour of Texas big cities. - We had to stand in line to order food. No table service. It took way too long to get a simple hamburger. The meat was overcooked the bun was dry and stale. Eat anywhere else in San Antonio. I have never given a review less than four stars until now.

Watch where they send you! - When researching Texas Ranger museum Waco - this popped up. It is in San Antonio. This was not shown on the booking. Needless to say didn't make it. No refund even booked within the 24 hr period.
