Carretera Panamericana Sur - Our day will start when we pick you up with a 4x4 from your hotel, hostel or Airbnb at 7 am. We need to leave this early so we can avoid the heavy traffic of Lima. We will be heading the road to Punta Hermosa neighborhood which is located south of Lima. It takes 30 minutes to get there. Punta Hermosa is one of the most beautiful areas where to live by the ocean, you will feel the breeze of the ocean heading your face and one of the coolest atmospheres of beach life. Here is where we get all the equipment to do sandboarding and you will get a short briefing about what are you going to do the next 4 hours.
Back on track again you need to be ready because here is where the real FUN starts. Make sure you are using the seatbelt for your own safe and now we ride through sand dunes of different sizes and difficulty levels. It is so much fun going up and down in the middle of nowhere. You will have stunning views and plenty of time for pictures. After this adventure with the 4x4 you will be doing sandboarding first the small and then the large dunes. I will be with you all the time and taking pictures and making videos while you are having your best time in Lima.

5/5 sandboarding - Amazing time with Alphonso and rafo sandboarding! Alphonso was an amazing instructor we both were first timers and got up to doing the big dunes by the end of the day. Rafo brought the vibes with good music, driving skills, and pisco! Would highly recommend best experience in Peru so far!

Lima Sandboarding Excursion - This was an amazing experience! For those staying in Lima, getting outside of the city to the dunes is a must-do. We booked last minute and had no regrets. Alphonso was a patient and amazing instructor, and the driver Marco was excellent on the sand. They not only provided great lessons for beginners, but were great people to spend the day with. At the end, we enjoyed the sunset and reflected on the day. Would do again!

Amazing day Sand Boarding in the middle of the dunes! - The best tour to escape the city and experience Sand boarding with a 4x4 ride. Amazing stop to get breakfast before hitting the dunes. Great service and patient to train new boarder. I highly recommend this tour.

Great experience overall! - Alfonzo is a great teacher. This was my first time sand boarding and I feel like I learned so much and I have videos and photos to remember the experience! Watching the sunset at the end of the day was the cherry on top. Great day trip overall!

Awesome adventure! - I had an incredible sandboarding experience in Lima! Our instructors, Rafa and Nicolas, were absolutely amazing—super encouraging, patient, and informative, especially since I was a complete beginner. They guided me through every step and made sure I felt comfortable and confident the whole time.
The day was action-packed from start to finish. We even stopped for a delicious breakfast (not included in the price but very affordable), which was a great way to fuel up before hitting the dunes. The group was awesome too—such great energy all around.
I had so much fun and would definitely book this experience again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lima and looking for a bit of adventure!

Best half-day adventure in Lima - This was an amazing adventure in Lima! Rafael and Nicolas were amazing. They take you from
Beginner to pro in a manner of minutes.
Pro-tip: Ask for the Body board. You go soooo fast down the big hill.

Great even for beginners! - As someone who has never in her life snowboarded, sand boarded, or strapped her two feet to a single piece of hardware it was so much fun! Nico was super patient at teaching me how to get control of the board. A New Yorker who got to sandboarding before snowboarding :-)

Super fun, safe, and memorable day on the sand dunes! - Rafa and his Sandride Lima crew were amazing! We started with an early 7am pick up from our hotel in a nice clean comfortable SUV. An hour later we were getting our boots and board sized then we hoped into a Toyota Landcruiser and headed out to the desert. They let us pick the music and within 40 min we were in the middle of the sand dunes.
They did a wonderful job at starting us off slowly on some smaller dunes until we got comfortable with riding and turning. Driving on the soft sand is not easy but they did an awesome job getting us most of the way up the dune after each run so we only had to walk a short distance to the top.
They also took photos and video of us while riding which made for some super memorable photos.
Would 100% recommend and book Sandride Lima again!

Lima Sandboarding - One of the best days I've had ever......and I've done alot of cool stuff!! The guys were amazing! 10000% recommend!
