Muangboran is an expansive outdoor museum spanning nearly 100 hectares (240 acres) in the neighboring Samut Prakan Province. Conveniently located near the Kheha BTS Skytrain station, it is less than an hour from central Bangkok. The history of Siam is meticulously recreated, allowing visitors to explore various eras from different parts of the kingdom all in one park. The ancient ruins and monuments represent the Dvaravati, Srivichai, Lopburi, Lanna, Lan Chang, Sukhothai, U-tong, Ayuthaya, Thonburi, and Rattanakosin periods.
Considering the park’s size, a tram operates every hour (with a minimum of 10 people at the starting point), except on Bank Holidays and Public Holidays. The tram ride is included in the ticket price, as is the use of a bicycle for those who prefer to pedal around. Golf carts are available for an additional fee (with a valid Thai or International Driver’s License).
This ticket price is exclusively for foreigners, and children under 6 years old can enter for free.
