- Erawan Museum - Located in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand, the Erawan Museum is renowned for its impressive three-headed elephant art installation. Inside the elephant, there are three levels housing antiquities and invaluable collections of ancient religious artifacts owned by Lek Viriyapant, who also founded the Ancient Siam and Sanctuary of Truth museums, which preserve artifacts and heritage items.
The museum showcases significant model sculptures that highlight various aspects of Thai culture.
Visitors can reach the museum via the Chang Erawan BTS station on the Sukhumvit Line.
- Ancient City (Mueang Boran) - Known as the world’s largest outdoor museum, Ancient City is situated near the Crocodile Farm in Samut Prakan Province. Spanning 320 hectares, this “city” features 116 structures representing Thailand’s renowned monuments and architectural attractions. The layout of Ancient Siam roughly mirrors the shape of the kingdom, with monuments positioned in their geographically accurate locations. Some buildings are life-size replicas of existing or former sites, while others are scaled down. Additionally, some are “creative designs,” not replicas of any historical structure.
