Unforgettable Samarkand day tour from Tashkent - This one-day tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! The pickup was perfectly on time, and we traveled to Samarkand in a VIP class on the high-speed train, which was incredibly comfortable, clean, and modern. The return trip in standard class was just as pleasant. Everything was smooth and hassle-free. In Samarkand, we were lucky to have a private tour just for our group. Our guide was outstanding, deeply knowledgeable and passionate, and her assistant was so kind, especially to my daughter, who absolutely adored her. The historical sites were breathtaking and full of fascinating stories, and lunch at a local eatery was both authentic and delicious. Despite the 13-hour duration, the day flew by, and we never felt exhausted. This tour was well-organized, enriching, and truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Uzbekistan!

Well organised trip to Samarkand’s main sights - I chose this trip as had a spare day while flying out of Tashkent after a long trip in Tajikistan so it was a bonus trip. It was well organised including pick up from hotel by taxi, fast train to Samarkand. Great visit to the sites with very informative guide.

Smooth experience - Solo trip in Uzbekistan. The tour logistics was very accommodating, with door to door stops (from hotel to the train and back to the hotel) and everything prearranged so all you'll need to do is show up and have fun!

Excellent! - It was well organized and the guide was excellent. She spoke excellent English and was knowledgeable and eager to share her knowledge with me. I had an excellent day and could not have enjoyed my visit to Samarkand this much without taking the tour. It was worth the price

Nice - Tour guide in Samarkand : Hakeem *very polite and helpful tour guide. *The trip was lovely and very informative. *Easy and clear instructions for pickup and drop off. *Transportation very nice and well maintained by the trained. Even they serve free meals in Vip coach. *flexibility to choose your timing to end the tour. ** however, i wished if we visited different historical place that doesn't look like the rest of masjids and Madrasah, after visiting 2, 3 historic place my eyes got used to it.. they all look the same. Overall, it's nice trip * bring umbrellas, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable modest clothes.

Lovely Samarkand Day Trip - My day trip to Samarkand was truly unforgettable, thanks to the amazing team at GOTOUZBEKISTAN. From start to finish, everything was smooth and thoughtfully organized. The experience began in Tashkent, where Izzatullo, the coordinator, ensured I had a seamless pick-up from my hotel and drop-off at the train station. Every detail was taken care of, which made the journey stress-free and comfortable. In Samarkand, I was warmly welcomed by my guide Mokhigul and her wonderful son Arif. Mokhigul was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about her city’s history and culture. She brought Samarkand’s iconic landmarks to life with her stories, and even added personal touches that made the tour feel more like spending the day with a local friend than a traditional guided experience. Arif’s cheerful presence made the day even more enjoyable, he helped me get the most picturesque spots in town. They also made me enjoy Samsa and Manti for lunch which was incredible. If you're planning to explore Samarkand, I highly recommend booking with GOTOUZBEKISTAN. This team goes above and beyond to deliver a meaningful, hassle-free, and memorable experience.

Not bad - The tour and the guide were great. Lunch was delicious! However the A/C in the car was not working in Samarkand and it was really hot. Another issue was that they don't buy the tickets until an hour or two before departure. If you are traveling with someone or in my case with children, it's likely that you won't be able to sit together. You may also have to wait a couple of hours for the train going back to Tashkent. Overall the tour itself was informational and the sights were amazing.
