The allure of the Himalayas has always been irresistible to me, a siren call that beckons with promises of untouched beauty and cultural richness. When I heard about the Manaslu Circuit Trek and its promise of unexplored trails and preserved Tibetan culture, I knew it was an experience I couldn’t miss. The journey began with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, a prelude to the adventure that awaited. The trek itself was a symphony of nature’s wonders, with lush jungles, cascading waterfalls, and the majestic presence of the eighth tallest mountain in the world, Mt. Manaslu.

The trek was meticulously planned, with each day offering a new vista more breathtaking than the last. The ascent to Larke La Pass, standing at an impressive 5160 meters, was a highlight. The descent to Bhimthang and Dharapani was equally enchanting, a journey through pristine landscapes that felt like stepping back in time.
