The fortress is located in the old town (pedestrian area). Go to the funicular station (Festungsgasse 4) & present your voucher there to get a free ride from 30 min. before dinner start. By car use the car park at Hildmannplatz 1, Entry (Einfahrt)B, follow the sign Festung/Dom, walking time 10 min.

Beautiful music and delightful dinner! - Prepare to be impressed! The Fortress is amazing and the dinner was delightful! We adored the concert and the musicians were entertaining; you could really tell they love what they are doing. The music was fabulous and filled the concert room. Would highly recommend!

Great experience - Dinner was a nice experience. Food was good and staff was great. The concert was tremendous. Would recommend doing both the dinner and the concert, but if not interested in the dinner definitely do the concert.

A magical night. - An amazing experience from start to finish. Our waiter explained all the options on the menu and as we had the VIP Gold package all the drinks were included. The views from the fortress windows were amazing and made the wait for the food worthwhile. We both started with the wine soup, followed by the roast veal and then the amazing Salzburg Nockeral for the desert. This was only the starter as the main event was the Mozart concert. Held in the hall of the fortress the amazing musicians treated the audience to a varied programme of Mozart as well as pieces from Strauss and Dvork. Special mention to the pianist who joined them for one of the pieces as it was evident she loved the piece and could clearly feel the music.

An evening not to be missed - First and foremost its a definite must do when in Salzburg. It was a brilliant evening from start to finish. The food was great along with the service. The concert was first class. Includes the Funicular ride to get to The Fortess. Must do the Golden VIP.

I definitely recommend... - I definitely recommend the Golden VIP option. The entire experience from start to end was seamless and the food was delicious! It did look like a different menu for VIP which was worth it. We even ended up in the first row for the concert!

Magical Mozart! - It was certainly one of the best highlights of the trip! The food, scenery and of course the music was spectacular. I highly recommend this. Worth every penny!

Incredible! A must!! - We had the Golden VIP ticket which I highly recommend, the value of the ticket is definitely worth it for the beautiful 3 course meal and drinks with a breathtaking view. The service was so smooth, the staff was fully on top of everything and very attentive. Our waiter was Singh and he really looked after us well, he’s an asset to the team there. The concert was absolutely brilliant, even if you are not a fan of classical music I would recommend it. The musicians were very talented, absolutely amazing. We had a fantastic night and are so glad we managed to book it. Thank you to all the staff and the musicians for a truly unforgettable night.
