Experience gastronomical and musical joys over the city skyline! Take pleasure in a romantic meal at the Panorama Restaurant situated in the globally renowned Salzburg Fortress, leading into a Best of Mozart Concert, all with the incredible sight of the city and its landscapes.
The dinner in the Panorama fortress restaurant offers individual tables! Tables will be arranged based on the booking size, with the exception of 23rd to 25th December.
In good weather and suitable atmospheric conditions, the VIP dinner will be set on the panorama terrace.
Inside the internationally recognized fortress, hovering above Mozart’s city, where the archbishop once hosted his special guests, you will have the chance to witness a supreme classical concert.
Listen to some of Mozart’s most loved compositions, such as “A little Nightmusic”, alongside the work of other renowned music masters, performed by internationally acclaimed artists.
During Advent and Christmas period, you will also be serenaded with traditional Salzburg Advent and Christmas music.

The fortress is located in the Old City (pedestrian area). Go to the railway station (Festungsgasse 4). Present your voucher there to get a free ride from 30 min. before dinner start. By car use the car park at Hildmannplatz 1, Entry (Einfahrt) B. Follow the sign Festung/Dom. Walking time 10 min.

Best night out in Salzburg! - What a wonderful evening! The fun ride up in the cable car and the beautiful view from the fortress, the evening was off to a a very good start. The three-course dinner with wine and coffee was one of the best meals I’ve had anywhere, let alone with the amazing view from the window. To top it all off, the Mozart concert after dinner was excellent. The pianist and string quartet were extremely talented musicians who obviously enjoyed themselves, as did we. I thoroughly recommend this experience and also strongly advise to choose the VIP dinner as it’s really good value for what you experience during the evening.

Worth every penny - The dinner service was elegant and the meal was delicious. The best part, however, was the concert. Piano player was the best we’ve ever heard and the strings performances were superb.

Worth it! - The food for the dinner was really good, much better than I expected. The concert was excellent and atmospheric with the location. My only criticism was that they only had one person selling drinks at intermission. The long was very long.

Not cheap , but worth it… VIP+ - Great staff, tremendous views, good food and a group of musicians that appeared to really enjoyed sharing their talents. Overall an excellent time.

Average experience - I purchased the basic meal and concert package. The meal was average - chicken breast and rice, with a nice soup and a good dessert. Only two waitstaff for around 100 guests. This was not a problem with serving the meals but paying for extras like a beverage was very slow and delayed the start of the concert. The concert was quite good, although the last section of traditional Austrian Advent folk tunes was less impressive for non- Austrians. Funicular capacity was overwhelmed after the concert. There may be better options held in churches or other venues.

Concert is not so good as expected. - Dinner was an average level. We disappointed the concert. Each player maybe good, but I do not feel that they have musically good ensamble.

Christmas with a difference - The concert was very good. The musicians were excellent. The VIP dinner, on the other hand, was unexpectedly bad! The food was lower middle class! We had to wait about 25 minutes for the drinks. In addition, the spreads that were listed as the first course on the menu were missing from the tables. These were served afterwards! For dessert, we didn't even get what was on the menu, just some piece of cake because there were no more Salzburger Nockerln! The waiter had a cold! He served with a runny nose and was idle a lot, i.e. he couldn't control it. No thanks, never again!
