Fun time baking some local delicacies! - We really enjoyed this cooking class! The school is located on the edge of Old Town but not hard at all to find with the provided directions. It's located inside/under one of the tall mountains bordering central Salzburg so the inside looks like a cave and was very cozy! The instructor was very detailed in her steps and let us ask questions, take photos/videos and move around to each table helping us with the more complicated steps. We made apple strudel and Salzburger Nockrel. Before enjoying our "creations" as the instructor called them, we enjoyed a hearty bowl of beef goulash and had a chance to chat with the other cooking class students. We recommend this class for anyone looking to get first hand experience in the local cuisine!

Great experience - tasty food! - Great class! Great food. Instructor showed us how to do each thing first and then we broke into groups and tried it ourselves. She came around to each group to make sure we were getting it right. Highly recommend this class! For 5 euro you could buy a small booklet with the recipes to take home.

Making desserts - Good instructor. Fun making two traditional Austrian desserts. Drank some wine. Chatted with the other family. Not your typical tourist activity

Interesting and different activity - Very fun and unique activity in Salzburg! It's a great break from the normal touristy things to do and get your hands dirty and play a bit! The lunch they served was delicious - but the timing is a little tough. We did this after a morning biking tour, and lunch is served AFTER all the cooking (makes sense it's while they're baking) but it means you're not eating until about 1-1.5 hours after the start. So keep that in mind in case you need to grab a snack on your way over, or adjust your dinner plans after. Also, no offense to us, but make sure you also order strudel in a restaurant during your trip because ours was not the representation of the best Austrian strudel - hey, it was our first time.

Fun afternoon - Had a great time, made apple strudel and a traditional Salzburg dessert Salzburger knockerl. Combined with the goulash soup, was a filling meal! Leonardo was a great teacher.

This was so much fun! One of our favorite things we did on vacation - We booked the Apple strudel cooking class with lunch. My daughters and I had so much fun making apple strudel and nockerel! Leonardo was our instructor and he did a great job teaching us how to make strudel and nockerel. It was so delicious! We loved the desserts we made and also the yummy goulash for lunch. This was one of our favorite things we did on our trip to Europe. Luckily we were the only ones booked at that time so we had a private lesson. The cooking school is also inside a cavern section of the mountain and it is really cool inside. I highly recommend booking this cooking class on your visit to Salzburg.

Don't Miss This! - We scheduled this class with the thought that it would be a nice addition to our touring of the city. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire trip. Our chef and teacher, Leonardo, was the best. The whole experience was fun and, most importantly, DELICIOUS!

This is a fun experience... - This is a fun experience with knowledgeable instructors. My only complaint is that it seemed slightly overbooked, and I thought the strudel should have been baked more ( too many in the oven?) The goulash soup was delicious!
