The tour continues through the lower city via the Américo Simas tunnel, passing the port area and traversing the commercial district of Calçada. Next is Largo de Roma, where Sister Dulce’s Social Works are situated, followed by a drive along Avenida dos Dendezeiros to Bonfim Hill. Here, there is a photo stop at Salvador’s most renowned church, famous for the traditional “Lavagem do Bonfim.” The route includes a pass by Monte Serrat Fort, offering a stunning view of the Bay of All Saints.
A stop at Mercado Modelo allows visitors to admire local crafts, with vibrant handicrafts, the sea as a backdrop, and the sound of the berimbau captivating tourists and passersby. The tour concludes with a return to the hotel.
