The tour also includes stops at Largo da Vitória and Corredor da Vitória, once home to Bahia’s elite, including the Carlos Costa Pinto Museum. Additionally, visitors will explore Campo Grande, a historic square known for its significant role in Bahia’s independence and vibrant Carnival festivities.
The walking tour starts at Praça Municipal, featuring Palácio Rio Branco and the City Hall, opposite Elevador Lacerda. From the balconies, visitors can enjoy one of the most stunning views of the Bay of All Saints.
The tour then moves to Terreiro de Jesus, where the Salvador Basilica Cathedral is located. A key highlight is the São Francisco Church. The tour concludes in the vibrant and historically significant Largo do Pelourinho.
